Just 12 really terrible movies I think you are only 6 years younger then me. While this speech is uber-cheesy with the benefit of hindsight, you must to recall how palpable the tension between the US and USSR was in the mid-80's...no' Maybe I just grew up paranoid. As far a IV pretty much blowing...I think many would agree it is the 2nd or 3rd best Rocky movie. Posted in: Off Topic |

Anyone experienced with divorces involving children? I'm in this exact situation right now and could write a novel about all the ins, outs, and what-have-yous regarding my situation. I constantly have to get my lawyer involved to keep my ex-wife (who thinks the decree does not apply to her) in check. It is a constant battle, and something I have accepted I will be paying until my youngest is 18 years old...which is 14 fucking years away. Weeee!! Your situation will hinge on the language in your divorce decree. If you are obligated to use 3rd party intervention (Parenting Consultant, Meditation, whatever), prior to going to court, you will need ... Posted in: Off Topic |

stay at home dad back at work Phase 1. Collect Underpants Phase 2 ' Phase 3 Profit Seriously tho, 1. Quit the job. 2. Stay home with kids til youngest is in school (or as PLuv suggest, re-insert and make more). 3. Start career, only have daycare/nanny in the summers. Or, never start a career and always be a stay at home dad. With MBA and a half-ass lawyer you're on easy street with palimony should it come to divorce. Enjoy the ride. Posted in: Off Topic |

water pooping a hardwood floor Thanks popper. I am using Minwax oil based, but just the standard Wood Finish variety. I'm mixing 2 parts Red Mahogeny, 1 part Jacobean. A lot of what I have googled said don't walk on it...but I to me that seems nearly impossible and counterintuitive. I mean, it would take forever to work my way into all rooms from one starting point. (3 bedrooms, long hallway, living room, dining room). Not too mention the damage/problem with treading over a freshly stained floor. I think I've committed (in my mind) to walking on it...your post sealed it for me. So, if it looks like shit, I'm blaming you. ... Posted in: Off Topic |

water pooping a hardwood floor Welp, I didn't chemically strip the old finish/stain off. I used 24 grit and a random orbital sander...it did indeed take a long time. I went down to a 150 grit to eliminate all the swirls/UFOs in the wood from the initial agressive stripping grit. I went 24, 36, 40, 80, 120, 150. This is the first time I've ever attempted this...so lesson learned I guess. But I water popped it last night to raise the grain and open the pores in the oak and I am staining tonight. Popperhead...since you seem aware. Can I walk on the now popped floor and work my way out of the room while staining' Or, do I ... Posted in: Off Topic |

water pooping a hardwood floor Anyone have any experience refinishing hardwood floors' I recently bought a house with extensive oak hardwood and just finished sanding it bare....finishing with a 150 grit. I am going to stain it dark and will be water popping the floor to reopen the grain/pores of the oak. My questions are After water-popping is it safe to walk on the floor or do I risk 'smashing' the freshly raised grains the water pop produced' Typically, I would stain and work my way out of a room. But, if damage occurs to the grain would I work my way into the room...walking over the freshly stained area. Cliff ... Posted in: Off Topic |

In a baseball mood Jack Morris vs Mystery Pitcher It was game 7. Lonnie Smith was the runner, Pendleton was the batter. Late inning, like 7th or 8th I think. Penldleton hit a double to the gap with Smith on first. Chuck Knoblauch feigned starting a double play or something like that...Smith ended up on 3rd, most likely would've scored had he not hesitated because of Knoblauch's deke (sp'). #Game_7 Posted in: Off Topic |

weird two-handled tennis racket and jump serve The first time you saw it, perhaps. But everytime after it's the exact same thing. Instead of deceptive, the guy just looks like a LHI. And why the two handles thing' You can't flip your racket back and forth unless it has a double dildo on the end of it' There's a reason OP never heard of this guy. Posted in: Off Topic |
