Re(1): Top 5 Players in Baseball I am a diehard Yankees fan and I can not believe all the A-Rod responses. He is a good player but no one in the league can compare to Jeter. Jeter has to be in the top five of every list. Who would not want him on their favorite team' The only one who is comprable is Beltran. He is clutch and willing to put his body on the line which is something a lot of players o not do. Oh yeah he is also batting .360 Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(1): Pot odds and Implied odds I agree with the last two posts about junk cards. I do not suggest that you play any two cards becuase the pot odds justify it. I do not think you should follow the pot odds before you enter a hand. If your going to play it then fine but do not play junk hands becuase of th epot odds. I like to follow the pot odds when I am playing drawing hands or ak suited and you flop the nut flush draw. I feel that if you want to play mathematically "correct" then when the pot odds are greater than the odds of making your hand you should call. If you are sitting in bb and its been raised 4 times and you ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Pot odds and Implied odds You want to call when the pot odds are greater than the odds of you making your hand. Say your on a flush draw.. After the turn you have 4 cards to the flush. Nine of the remaining 46 cards will hit for you, so you are getting roughly 4 to 1 odds of hitting your flush. If the pot size is 1000 and someone bets 100 if you call you will be getting over 10 to 1 on you money, therefore you make the call. The pot odds are over 10 to 1 and the odds of you hitting your flush are 4 to 1. Sorry if this doesnt make sense to you I'm at work and trying to get it done quickly Matt Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Loose play to win tournaments? I agree with your initial statement. That is how I play and I am by no means anything special but I feel it is the correct way to play. I also feel that you need to switch every so often during a tournament based on how the table is playing but for the most part I feel Tight is Right Turtle Posted in: Poker Discussion |
