bad board 4 slowplaying a set?
Flop play was terrible... The guy bets 20% of the 3bet pot.... I personally donk bet for value.... especially on a board that doesn't hit much of my range except for 66, 99, 88... to me : Bet>Check Raise>Check Call I'm assuming after that turn you're not playing your hand for value anymore. So checking there isn't bad... On the river, however, you're pretty much turning your hand into a bluff with very little F/E... If you do decide to look him I think that flatting is the optimal play.

Not trying to be conceited or a jerk, but I definitely think you could've played this hand a lot better than what you did. I mean you got your money in good and that's great, but if it wasn't you're intention to c-bet or raise PF for value then I think there are numerous ways you could've played it better.

I'm sorry, but I don't think it's a good mentality to think about where you are in terms of place with 150 runners left... especially if you only have 25bbs.

This is why i suck at poker
I'm not quite sure why you'd check/call the flop... To be honest though, after the turn if I played it the same as you, I honestly would check/call down like you did. However, I think my play on the flop is to either, check/raise, or bet/fold... I had a spot similar to this at a 4.40 180 FT today 6handed... and I elected to check/raise on the same time of board... When I went over my HH i thought it would've been best to bet/fold... and if he flats just check/call or check/fold depending on what the turn comes... Not going to lie I think out of all the spots this type of spot has me ...

I don't think you understand the importance of stack sizes in relations to the blinds, he had 25bbs in a tournament where the structure is similar to a turbo (not quite) 25bbs is not a stack to sit on. If the player had AQ would you be preaching the same message' I highly doubt it. You're basing your play on the results that happened rather than what is the correct play if you make it every single time. The guy's range who 4bet shipped still plays well against your hand, and then on top of that you have tons of fold equity vs the 3better. It's nothing but a cooler and I love how people say ...

Any info on how pstars stakes it's "stars." It appears they all freeroll.
OP was trying to be clever and "Stars"= Pokerstars Team Pro... I always thought that they bought them into Big events... such as, the WSOP ME, PCA, and any other Big Pokerstars Sponsored event... My guess is that it varies from pro to pro... Seems like they sign the more charismatic players than the ones who actually deserve a sponsorship.. just my opinion.

this... AKos is a tough hand to play OOP with 75bbs... like redicerap said... what do you want to achieve'' What if he flats your 3b and the flop is KQ9 r... seems like a weird spot to play with the SPR at ~4-1... Seems like it'd be kind of spewy to stack off with TPTK on that board 75bbs deep... just me though

how to play a final table if....
If they're calling light, don't let that deter you from raise, c-betting the flop.... Most likely, the people who are calling are from the blinds and you'll have position on them for every street... punish them for calling OOP. If getting top 2 is your concern then you can't be letting the aggressive players dictate the way you play, I think the best time to chip up is early at the FT, if you wait too long it creates tougher spots because players are opening up their hand ranges and you'll really have a difficult time playing with the aggressive players.

4.40 180s sustainable ROI?
Other than a couple players, sustaining 100% over >2,000 games is unrealistic. I would say a 90th percentile player is running at about 50-75% (over 2,000 games).

Do DoN players suck at poker?
No, DON players have very unique skills that allow them to be successful at the games they play. Most successful MTT players are inept when it comes to cash games and vice versa. DON players have a much better understanding of ICM, than most of their poker playing counterparts.
