From his pokerroad interview before the FT it sounds like he has a bigger bet riding on a 2nd bracelet and he was expecting to win this bracelet bc 2-7 is "easy" (when he was 1.5 to 1 dog to the avg stack coming into the FT). Explains the rush on to the next tourney.

Needmoney, I want to say that I have been outleveled (for the sake of humanity), but I suspect yr post is genuine... Take everything you know about poker and do the EXACT opposite and you will make money. Otherwise, yes do you need training (Pokerxfactor is a good place to start btw).

OP brings up a good point - here's why: * People don't trap enough with A8 in EP and instead shove 100bb wide which gives away the true strength of their hand. * Also A8 plays well against the Hi / Lo ranges in a multiway pot and makes him a favorite to scoop. * The multi-flush argument is also a strong point bc a player held 2 suited cards he would only could only potentially make one flush (outside of the board playing). A8o literally doubles your chances of hitting a flush. * Scott Fischman is a "professional" so he must know what he's doing.

^^^ this And OP you didn't have to say anything outright. Your tone ("these people"), like your spelling is terrible. It's very clear that you didn't point out his HH to learn anything, but to question his overall ability. His play looks standard if he has some history with his opponent.

Not including today Gus is up +3.8mio YTD playing PLO according to HSDB (2nd only to Ivey). Durrr is down -$3.6mio for the same period (again not including today). So maybe every time you're tuning in is when some fanboy starts a thread about how Durrr is god and Gus is a fish.

It's a call all else equal. Just hope he turns over AJo bc everyone knows that KQo is 20-1 favorite against AJo. Seriously though, with 25 players left I'm assuming you've played with the villain for at least a few orbits. You should be able to assign a range based upon on his level of play. This should have been a snap call or fold (e.g. if it's first hand played in the last 3 orbits) based upon the villain's tendencies (esp. this deep in this tourney). Also, think Wein's ranges are fine if it was thinking player who's shoving same with monsters and marginal ...
