Yeah sorry about that guys. Unfortunately, by law, we can't leave open-ended registration like poker tourneys. Our prizepools must be predetermined. We underestimated the popularity of the NL/AL only games and, in hindsight, should have made them a bit bigger. We're adapting though and we'll have bigger fields for Events 5 - 8 to accommodate and ensure people don't get locked out. We've posted some AL/NL only "2nd chances" in the lobby for those who still are looking to play this format.

Serious tipping thread.
Even the shittiest of service I'll give 10-15% for food, most dinners are ~20-25% Cab drivers usually get 20-30%, mostly because I feel bad for their shitty job. Casino dealers are always tipped, even if a I lose in the pit Always a buck for the taxi stand guy in Vegas ~20% for barber

Good graduation gifts for the SO?
Go to a Nordstrom or something and buy her a full outfit that she can wear while teaching. They have fashion consultants at the store that can help pick out an appropriate outfit. Something less involved would be a hodgepodge of stuff for her classroom -- a nice lesson planner, some supplies, etc.
