I guess it'lll never stop :( Regarding the sunday warmup on 9/28....... Hello, PokerStars has become aware of an instance in a tournament in which a player "handed off" his seat to a different player, deep in the event. This is in violation of our tournament rules, and that player has been disqualified. All players who were eliminated prior to the disqualified player have been bumped up in standing, which results in some players being due a larger tournament award. Because you were involved in this tournament, T# 109333194, you have been advanced in the prize table and your account has been credited ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:a little fuzzy on pokerstars steps sng strategy...PLZ HELP can you explain a little more thoroughly please' i understand sng strategy to a point that i should be shoving every hand cuz i have the chip lead, blah blah. but i feel like the other 2 players are even and are both playing to get in the top 2 spots so they arent gonna like just be autofolding k hi, etc even if im jus shoving every hand. maybe my reasoning is extremely flawed, im not sure. a more in depth explanatio would help, ty. Re(7): 4betting all in vs. agressive 3betters in tourney late stages I just wanted to say thanks to all who replied, appreciate the advice/comments...stupor, annette, etc.-i really appreciate your key analysis here, as well as the contributions made by will and others......annette was right, I was under the impression he was giving my CO raise no credit and also felt that i would instamuck to a 3bet most of the time for 2 reasons: 1) my position and or lack of a hand to begin with and 2) the fact that i was top 5 in chips and didnt wanna risk all of them even if i did have a semistrong hand......and yes, the most important reasons why I pushed were becuase I ... Re(2): 4betting all in vs. agressive 3betters in tourney late stages Inissint, My thought was considering I was 5th in chips at the time and would still have rouhgly 30bb's if i folded to the 3bet, I perhaps should have folded and found a better spot. Then again, I am playing to win and I know that the most important thing is ur bb/blinds ratio, not chips place. Nevertheless, u still would shove here almost every time instead of waiting a few more rounds for a better spot''' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

4betting all in vs. agressive 3betters in tourney late stages Here's the situation. Im in 5th or 6th in chips of the 25 players left in the tourney. We just passed the bubble at 27 players, and i have approx 25k chips. The villain has been at my table for about a round and a half and has raised twice, once getting 3bet pre and automucking. Here I raised the CO with 99 at 400-800 and he 3bet from bb. I then 4bet allin feeling like 99 was ahead of his range for 3betting plus i def has some FE behind(when i pushed it was 17k to call to win 32k in the pot). Maybe I'm being results oriented, but would anyone make a case for just calling pre or even folding ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): defending against the min reraise preflop i never ever fold to a min reraise preflop. my problem is deciding whether or not to reraise before the flop and/or making decisions on the flop. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

defending against the min reraise preflop this donkish play at the low/medium stakes is driving me wild. i cant seem to figure out if they are min reraising me with huge pairs or AQ/AJ,etc. Any advice on how to defend agaisnt this play' the obvious answer would be to call and hope to flop something huge to punish the player for such a bad play. but being out of position and completely dumbfounded as to what they are raising me is making it tough on me. thanks in advance for the help. Accumulating during middle/late stages; PLZ POST ADVICE/THOUGHTS hey guys, my name is Alex, and im pretty new to the forums. this hand came up in the $26 full tilt tourney at 8:00 pm EST. fairly straightforward i think, but i would appreaciate any and all thoughts and suggestions. heres what i can tell you beforehand: "villian" in this hand has been fairly aggresive with the blinds now at 150-300 and antes kicking in, but def not maniacal. he did very little limping, however. i def dont care about just cashing, thus i suppose my reasoning for the play. do u care for the flop play' why or why not' as i said, suggestions while keepin in thought of where were ...
