$8.80 Deep 90-man on Stars... Help/Hop In
I am trying to get this to run and it seems stuck at around 9-13 players. Hop in if you want to play or maybe you can stay registered for a while and then unreg once the number a players starts to grow to around 30ish or whatever the tipping point might be.

$12 45s on Stars
I haven't played much on Stars in a long time, which means I don't have much of a roll on there. I decided to fire up some $12 45s, which I had never played before. I was pretty excited to see really soft players all around, but then I cashed in 1 of 28. Anyone else have some good 45-man horror stories'

True. I could have just said "the NCAA needs more NBA rules." I enjoy the NBA more in terms of good basketball, but the NBA has nothing on a college basketball atmosphere.

I agree that the players should just play the damn game and let the coaches work the refs, but sometimes the game can get emotional and a technical foul can completely change the game. Maybe the NCAA should have a rule where a certain number of technical fouls throughout the season results in a one game suspension again another NBA type rule). That way a random outburst in one game won't have a massive effect on the game, but a guy who keeps getting technical fouls will still face consequences.

Changes for college basketball
Don't get me wrong, I love college basketball, but it can be so hard to watch sometimes (especially watching UCLA be terrible this year). The NCAA needs to make some changes to improve the flow of the game. They need to get rid of the timeouts under 16:00, 12:00, 8:00 and 4:00. Maybe they can do under 15:00, 10:00, and 5:00. There seems to be a timeout after every whistle. They need to shorten the shot clock to 30 seconds maximum, preferably 24 seconds. 35 seconds is just way too long to be passing the ball around the perimeter and shortening the number of possessions per game. Don't pick UCLA. We have Collison, 4 role playing veterans, and 5 freshmen, even though it's a sick freshmen class. I'd be happy with an elite 8 this year. Anything above that is gravy.

That's really weird then. My friend just told me he was playing some SNGs and he was disconnecting frequently too. I am in socal and he is in norcal so obviously the connections are not related. Any ideas on what could be causing the disconnects'

Is FTP always laggy at night?
The past 3 or 4 times I've tried to play cash games at night there have been constant disconnects, sometimes very brief, but sometimes for like 10 seconds and I time out on most of my tables. It's super annoying to finally flop a set against a huge nit who obviously has AA, but then have everything freeze up. Is this on my end or is it just a common problem'

The Office was the best show on television, but that was during season 2 and a few parts in season 3. It's been going downhill for a while, but don't get me wrong, I still watch it. By the way, I just watched all the episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia over the past few weeks and I think Charlie is my favorite TV character of all time.

I've been trying to think of some schools that had two studs at one position that both got drafted really high or have been successful in the NFL. I can think of a few examples off the top of my head, but I know I'm missing a bunch. Albert Haynesworth and John Henderson (DTs at Tennessee) Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams (RBs at Auburn) McFadden and Felix Jones (RBs at Arkansas) Shaun Rogers and Casey Hampton (DTs at Texas)

I am not a sports bettor and I would never bet against my own team, but I would have bet every penny to my name that BYU would crush us. Even when healthy we are not very good, and we are no where near healthy. Plus, BYU is much better than what they showed against Washington last week. 59-0 was surprising but I wouldn't have been surprised if it was 45-13.

Fantasy Football Trade Advice
I won't tell you what side of the trade I am on, but here it is: One team has Maroney and Felix Jones, the other team has Marion Barber and Sammy Morris. The trade proposal is Felix Jones for Sammy Morris (giving a handcuff for both teams). Is one side or the other getting a much better deal or is it a fair deal'

Fantasy Football Scoring Question
The Bears scored 9 points with their defense (safety and fumble return), but why the hell does this hurt my Colts defense' The plays had nothing to do with the Colts defense or special teams so it is tilting me pretty hard that I lose points for that. I don't remember this being an issue in the past, but maybe I just missed it.

Just got back from the game (and then some grub) and I was totally shocked that we won. For several reasons: 1. Our top 2 QBs were out before the game 2. Our #1 RB got injured very early in the game 3. Our #1 WR got injured very early in the game 4. Our #1 TE got injured early in the game 5. Our Juco transfer QB threw 4 ints in the first half 6. UCLA students don't start school until late September so the Rose Bowl was not what it could have been (not that we have a great crowd, but still) Kind of an embarrassing loss for the Vols and a great win for a team with low expectations and a ...

I'll be at the game, but I will be getting drunk during the tailgate in order to ease the pain of the crushing defeat we are going to receive. Give Rick and Norm a few years to build us back up. Missing our top 2 QBs also doesn't help, but we weren't going to be any good this year anyway.
