Article: U.K. Private Equity Firm Reportedly Interested in Buying Full Tilt Software I'm surprised the software is worth 30-35 Million, which doesn't include the Poker Database. Poll: What's your move? FTOPS $2,500 I think Texpert, playing the hand out of position and value betting the river has me to believe he could have KJ, AJ or a Set. Texpert is also capable of making a value bet bluff if he thinks Stevie missed his draw of Ac Kc. I'm curious what the results are but I truely believe a shove on Stevie behalf is the worst play out there of all three options. Suckout Pattern on FTP Okay I’ve been playing on FTP for a long time now, since its inception. I've notice a pattern or flaw of suck outs. I would say 80% this is the case. If a short stacked goes all in with Ace King and the chip leader or any other player calls with more chips they will suck out there 3 outer I'm not complain about bad beats. But I can tell you in tournaments when I push with the worst of it against and short stack, i'm confident that I will suck out. I've seen KQ lose to AK way too much because KQ was the chip leader. FTP worth putting money on? I absolutely love FTP. I play on it exclusively. I highly recommend it!!!! The software is the best I think over any other site. I think FTP definately thinks of the poker player first and business second. Plenty of tournaments and lots of Sats to get into these bigger games. Fields might be harder on FTP because of better players but anything under $50 the fields are weaker and are very big. Sometimes its just a mine field. I think the $75 and higher is where you will find lots of P5ers and the internet pros. The fields will be smaller but better talented. uglytuna Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I can't believe there isn't more talk about FTP I've been a FTP member for over a year and half. I like the new upgrades except for one thing and I can't believe no one has touch on this. I don't like the rankings. I always like how FTP always has the tournament field ranked by there chip counts. They use to rank the top 19 players by their chip counts. That window has become a lot smaller. During every tournament I always have that window up so I can see my stack against the field. For some unknown reason it has shrunk to only 14 players you can see at one time. I prefer the bigger windown in the old format' Any else agree' -uglytuna Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Need Live Sit N Go advice As Sam Fahra says, against bad players you actually need a hand. I tend to agree, because with bad players outrageous suck outs are going to happen. I think if you can slow play big hands like a set or nut flush and build a chip stack then you set yourself up for later. Early Tournament Strategy I would love to see what’s is the most successful strategy in the early stages of a tournament. I generally play tight until the antes kick in. Though, I will bet without holding nothing if its folded to me in position. So let say you start with 1500 chips in a tournament; how do you play it' Do you limp with AK, so you don’t risk to much chips preflop if you miss and another player has made a pot size bet in front of you. Or do you just push and gamble with this hand. I find that the hardest part of the tournament is the first two hours of the tournament. I wonder how these internet pros ... How players will be playing WSOP MAIN EVENT Last year they had over 8,000 players and the expect over 10,000 this year. I for one don't think they will exceed last years numbers. I think it might peaked last year. I don't see the Internet sites promoting as much as they did last year' I think they will get about 6,000- 65000 players for the Main Event! I'm a loyal player on Full Tilt Poker and benn making the same mistakes recently on Full Tilt's Mult Table Tournaments. So let me explain this one scenerio that happen to me recently which sums up my problem. Just recently I busted out of a tournament on Full Tilt Poker's 200K tournament. With 52 players left out of 1023, I was 5th in Chips with just over 100K. Now only 5 players were over 100K at the time where as most players were sitting around 25-35K in chips. I ...
