Playing tired...
Playing dead tired is usually a bad idea imo, at least for me. Tired and sick is when I usually find myself making excuses for why I donked off chips. That being said I still find myself doing it once in awhile. Just remember there is always another day to grind away, and if you rest, at least for me, I find I play much better and am much more positive with the extra rest. If you do grind, red bull is your friend. And i am just guessing, but I bet a lot of the guys that grind their asses off for a living rarely play at %100 with the amount of volume they put in edit: I also find when I play ...

Random PLO ?
not that my input is worth much, but I have never been a big fan of calling just because you can and hoping to hit a miracle...to me his hand is smelling a lot like trip 3s/4s or a better pair with a draw....for me it's a def fold calling would be a bad play here, you are way behind

Re:AAxx at HU PLO8
Well was it PLO8 or PLO' AAxx preflop you should pretty much always reraise preflop with to try and get heads up with someone. PLO8 is different, because there is a low and high hand, but AAxx in just PLO is very strong and should be played as such usually in a ring game. Hopefully you know which game is which, otherwise, it's probably a good idea to stick to hold em : /

Re:Anyone ever fold KK preflop
I have actually folded kings preflop once. I was playing a live tourny with a buy in of $100, and I was doing fine until I came up with kings and called villains all in preflop and he flipped over aces. Literally about 10 hands later I was dealt kings again and 3 bet the same guy pre flop and he shoved again, this time I just felt like he had it. I had somewhat of a tell by the way he shoved and how calm he looked. I mucked them, but showed everyone, they all thought it was a dumb fold until the villain flipped up his aces, and I felt damn good.

Re:50NL HU Spot
tough spot then, i might just throw it away and wait for a better spot since you only have a little invested at this point. The bets he makes once the flop comes out and the bet on the turn scream overpair, but it also could be a well planned bluff

Re:50NL HU Spot
Well the way I see it, you are either dominated or are dominating. It really depends on whether you think there would be a better spot later on to take him down. More information about the villain would help, like since you know each other well, does he tend to slow play preflop a lot' or possibly thinks you are only holding two over cards and just repopping you' Have you ever seen him flat call a reraise preflop with AA, KK, QQ' There are a lot of factors about the play that would go into this decision for me, but in my opinion i would probably shove because I feel he is making a play unless ...

Re:Good fold in $1/2 Game...?
From how I see it and how the hand went, he either repopped you with nothing, AQ suited, or outflopped you with his 88s or 22s...In my opinion, you most likely got outflopped because if he had QQs or AQ suited preflop you would probably be reraised, but 88s or 22s would want to call and see a cheap flop. Possibly even could be TTs if he is a luckbox. You most likely made the right fold, but the weak betting didn't help.
