Titan (ipoker) synch breaks eventually it was unbelievable. i was tallking to support for literally 10 mins today reaming them out. i was trying to say, this ENTIRE time, their entire effort, in order to make tournament players happy has completely failed and that although they technically have 'breaks that are synchronized' calling them SYNCHRONIZED breaks will mislead the poker community into thinking they are anything but USELESS. I understand it is a matter of semantics, which she annoyingly kept arguing, but the POINT IS, WHENEVER IT WAS, AT SOME TIME OR OTHER, the definition, at least to TOURNAMENT PROFESSIONALS changed ... Titan (ipoker) synch breaks eventually lol. ipoker apparently launched 'sync breaks' today. at the top of the hour as opposed to 55th minute thank you for nothing ipoker. this vexes me beyond belief.. poker sites should understand that the term 'synchronized break' refers to 5 minute breaks at the 55th minute of every hour.. not simply synchronizing itself with other tournaments on the same site. Looking to join live stable Looking for a team of players in Vancouver or elsewhere to play together and grind and improve. (Backing also, but not 100% neccessary) I'm a semi - regular mid/high stakes MTT guy who's been serioously hampered over the past 2 years by a shoulder/wrist/arm injury. Basically if i play super long sessions, i'm out of comission for bit and have been limited for the last little while playing basically a few days. Good news is, i've been going to physio and working out recently and can say that i am 100%. I am still taking a bit of a break just to make sure, but I'm hungry and ... Urbanlight's APPT Seoul Main Event + High Roller Background: I was always a brick and mortar kind of guy, and spent years playing fixed limit holdem, until mid 2010 when I started playing MTTs regularly. With the help of training sites like PokerPwnage and DeucesCracked I feel I learned the game really quickly and grasp the modern mechanics of the game very well. Although I am not an online veteran (evident on my low postcounts on this site and TwoPlusTwo) I am quickly learning to use these types of forums to aide my poker game. Successful midstakes grinder looking for backing and/or live coaching in Vancouver.. Hi, I am currently looking for a live coach and/or backer who I can grind with on a daily basis.. I am open to a variety of different options.. I have a bankroll so backing isn't absolutely necessary (also open to PARTIAL backing), but i would like to eventually dabble in some HSMTTs as well. I am also open to pay for coaching. I am a very adept learner and open to all sorts of different philosophies/concepts regarding poker. MTT player looking to get staked by someone in the GTA.. i just started playing MTT's last April and have been extremely consistent over this past year.. I could never put in fulltime hours (I was a fulltime student in the last year of my university where i essentially completed 60 credits (two years) in 1 year)... only had time to play 20-35 hours per week... profited close to 70k... closer to 80k when you include live profits.. two of my screen names: urbanlights (ftp) and i need sheet (pokerstars) show a profit of 45k+ in approximately 1200 tournaments.. largest cash being 5k+ (i'm not a player who's entire profit margin comes from 1 ...
