What was this 90's bicycle called?
Anybody remember those kid bicycles from the 90's that had the plastic on the outside of the frames that were designed to look like street bikes' A friend and I are trying to figure out what they were called and are having no luck.

So sick...Last night I finally win my first large field MTT of about 3200 people and now this news comes down. Granted it was a $1 MTT, but I had come close a few times in the past and never was able to close. I was definitely pumped about the win. Such a brag/anti-brag combo...

It almost sounds like you're treating this as a separate tournament. The 29M to be won at the FT is still part of the same tournament that started in July. Didnt you already get compensated for this back in the summer with your share of the 3% that was taken out of the prize pool' I'm not arguing for or against additional tipping, that's to the discretion of each individual player in my opinion. The reality is though, that $2,141,700 was withheld from the ME alone for dealer tokes (7,139 entrants * 3% of 10k buy in). I dont know how that gets split amongst the staff or what portion you ...

So Last Night My Girlfriend Asked Me. . .
I don't see what her problem is...a lot of people play poker for entertainment purposes and them losing money is their price of having fun. They are likely ok with losing money because they enjoy the game. Keep the job and be a pro in your off months. Job Standpoint: Steady pay, Health benefits, Stability Poker Standpoint: Trial run of being a pro. Develop a fulltime schedule and put yourself through the ringer. You'll get an idea of what it takes to play on a full time basis. Maybe 4-5 days a week of playing fulltime when you're off the ship. I really think that this could be a solid approach. Do this for 6 months and see how it goes. At the end of June you'll have had 3 months of ship work and 3 months of full time poker. I haven't played much poker in a while, but I used to play this tournament a lot over the last couple years. No major deep runs or anything, but fair enough finishes for an amateur poker player I guess. Focus on chipping up here and there throughout the tournament since the levels are only 10 minutes long. It doesnt have to be big pots all the time, but just keep accumulating. Just based on looks, yes go for it, but do not believe that she is anything above a 7.5/10. She's a 7.5 on her very best day, but nothing more. 6.5-7.0 on a normal day which is perfectly fine. Go for it OP's friend. She looks progressively better with each pic...first pic not so great, but last pic is pretty good.

Following this process has been pretty awesome, but I definitely thought you were making an arcade panel for a taxi cab... Which by the way, would've been 1000x cooler than what the actual idea is. I've never won an MTT with over 300 runners...still waiting for that large field breakthrough win. I did have a couple FT's though last year...been a while since my last one of those. My last win was in the PokerRoom days around 2003.

Out in the (L) as well...328th. AQ < 77 AIPF. I had appx 115k, villian well over 300k. I raise 2.5 from UTG+1, he 3-bets from LP, I shove, he snap calls and his pair holds. Was a fun run though...I was playing short stack poker for a while towards the end and was fortunate to double up a few times and make it as far as I did. That pot would've put me in soooo much better shape to where I could actually do something with it. GL to anyone else still in!
