Thanks and goodbye Hi FTPDave! So, where's da money' When are players outside the US going to be able to withdraw larger amounts of money via, for example, Moneybookers' Right, why do I bother... you're probably not going to respond to any questions in this thread nor do any kind of real support via these forums. Btw, feel free to prove me wrong. Hi five! Posted in: Poker Sites |

Why would cash game pros play on anything but Fulltilt? The greatest things about rush by far is no bum hunting, no waiting lists, no breaking tables. Essentially, none of the bullshit that makes regular cash games such a drag. Posted in: Poker Community |

Where to start for transitioning to PLO? Learn from one of the best: Phil Galfond Almost everyone agrees that Phil is not only one of the best PLO players in the world, but that he's also one of the best poker video maker out there. Also, try and play as much as you can. You can use this site to run some simulations: / Don't get a coach now. Try and learn the game a little before contemplating that idea since you'll get more bang for your buck later on when you at least have an idea of what you're doing. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

HSP Season 7 Episode 2 Norm is funny as hell. I just wish they would bring in a good young poker player like Haxton to do the poker commentary. Or just forget about the poker commentary altogether because it's some of the stupidest shit I have ever heard. Also, he should stop trying to predict what the players are going to do because it just makes him look bad. And btw, I thought Gabe was also extremely funny as well. As far as the players go, like everyone else, I thought the game was more entertaining when Durrrr or Ivey is in it. But it's not the end of the world. I like seeing the millionaire fish at the ... Re:How to stop drinking.... How about this' (1) Don't pre-drink if you go out. (2) Arrive later, or start drinking later, so you won't have as much time to drink (3) Leave after you drank a set amount of drinks, maybe like 3. (4) Don't go out as often. Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:i feel like i did the right thing, but need advice It's definitely -EV. In fact, he probably tilted you when you figured out he was terrible, but was managing to win somehow. First, you know he's a calling station, so you are asking for trouble when you re-raise a re-raise with 3rd pair. What's more, it's a terrible flop anyway. The 10 or 9 connects with a lot of his hands, not to mention that it's a very drawy flop, so he can have things like two overs and a str8 draw, the flush draw with 2 overs considering what you're holding, the open'ended, etc. In short, it's just a terrible move. Hope that ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Some help with late in MTT Alright. First hand, fold. Here's why: You know he's usually pretty aggressive in position, and you know he hasn't been playing for a few orbits. In essence, you know that, in his mind, he's been tightening up since he feels he's getting closer to a win. Now, he breaks two patterns that you have noticed before by raising out of position. The 4x raises may also show that he doesn't want to get called preflop. He probably thinks that AQ is one of those awkward hands. Unless, of course, he's been raising every time 4x the BB. In any case, you need to also take into ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Are violent economic corrections inevitable? What we're seeing in this deflationary period is that consumers aren't consuming anymore, so most of the vendors can't really sell any goods unless they slash prices, and fast. The mere perception that times well get tougher in the near future is enough to make consumers change their habits. That's why retailers are already slashing prices and offering bargains even though Christmas is a month and a half away. In the long run, inflationary periods will be longer than deflationary periods, in most scenarios anyway, because deflation usually happens when there's a shock or ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Entourage **spoilers*** Yeah very good episode, and one of the best this season so far. Something finally happens in this one. You guys watch Californication' There's been 4 ep so far in this second season, and I think they were all awesome. If you compare the new seasons of shows like Entourage, Weeds, and It's Always Funny in Philadelphia, I think Californication wins hands down in the best new season category. Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Friday stock market talk It doesn't help you pay your bills. It helps you not to lose your job. The price of oil is determined by the global demand and supply. If we go into a worldwide deep recession, demand for oil will go down, and if the supply of oil remain the same, prices will remain at this price or go lower. If, however, fears about the global slowdown were overblown, and the decline in the price of oil was due to panic selling, then, it's perfectly possible that prices will hinge higher as the demand side of the equation won't we as bad as previously anticipated. Also, OPEC will probably cut ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Wednesday stock market talk It's pretty much what I expected. Everyone was calling the bottom at 8000 and the market was way oversold last Friday, so when we got good news over the weekend that Morgan Stanley wasn't going to go bankrupt, and that the government was going to step in and invest in banks, the stock market went up huge. Me, I'm in a way better position right now than I was last week. I bought Morgan Stanley all the way down to 7$ last week, and sold yesterday at 22$. Now, I have more cash on the sidelines and I expect we will go down to 8000 again. I plan on buying more at that level, or close ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Dow may close below 8000 today... Yeah, I can't wait to see what happens. I think we're going to have a pretty good opportunity to buy GE this morning. They reported in-line earnings(revised in September), and their financial division is still profitable even with all that is happening. Also, I'm looking to see what happens with Altria. If we have a huge sell-off, like we had yesterday 1 hour before the close, I think it's going to go down relatively big, and we'll have a golden opportunity to get in with a huge yield. It's a very solid company, in a sector that's great to own during a recession. Posted in: Off Topic |
