I called and he turned over 10-3 off suit(like that matters). He hits a 3 on the flop and I hit a blank on the turn and river and I have 5K left. Next hand I pick up AJ and it is folded around to me, I push and he calls and has 10's and knocks me out of the tourney and he goes on to win the tournament. This game is all skill I guess.

Situation---> 30 rebuy on Full tilt. I am in 4th place and in SB with 31K in chips, BB is in 7th place with 26K in chips. 66 people left 27 places pay. Its folded around to me and I have played a few hands but not too many. I have not stole the blind from the BB but have taken a few from the players to his left. 5600 for first and that is what we are all shooting for. BB is 400, SB is 200 and there is an ante. I just have a few things to say, PLEASE listen to all of the POKER players on this forumn. They are telling you to stay in college. Get your degree, party and get laid. If nothing else stay in college to have a good time. Playing poker full time can be an anit social experience. College is a social experience. I personally did not go to college out of high school, I worked for 2 years at menial jobs and then went into the Marine Corps and used the GI bill to fund 4 years worth of school all while having a full time time job and 2 kids to raise. Playing in the 5K guarnteed 11$ bounty tourney on UB and theres 65 left out of 500. Blinds are 400 and 200 ante of 50. UTG(7000 chips) call for 400 seat 4(18000 chips) Calls for 400 and I have 10S 10H(2500 chips). I am in Seat 6. So this is how it goes down. UTG Calls 400 seat 4 calls 400 I go allin for 2500 making the pot about 4300. everyone else folds. UTG thinks and thinks and thinks and then calls 2100 more to bring his stack down to 4500. and seat 4 folds. UTG turns over 9H and AD. I moved allin to isolate the short stack and pick up 6K in chips and increase my stack by 30%. Everyone folded except BB who thought about it for 30 seconds or so then he called off his stack with AQ of spades. UTG shortie had K2. Flop came AQ3 the turn was a K and the river was ----you guessed it ----a blank. I felt I made the right move by isolating the UTG raiser who was pushing ANY marginal hand. I had made the same move with QQ against a short stack about 10 hands earlier. I was not calling the 3000 from the UTG raiser. Any player that had any decent hand behind me should then push over ...

I cant not....besides the customer service....understand why people do not play on UB. They have THE BEST tournament structure on the internet. Do people just not like playing in tournaments with an excellent structure' I would love for more people to play on that site. I played in a tournament on Full Tilt the other night and I thought it was a turbo the blinds went up so fast.

yes hard decisoo on that call BUT........ He had the majority of his chips in the pot. Had a inside str8 draw, 2 overs and a back door flush draw. and if he put him on A-10 then it qwas the right play. I would have probably made the call also and I see nothing wrong with making this call after youve committed most of your chips. Anytime you put more than half your chips in the pot, you should be prepared to go all the way with the hand in my opinion and go with your read. I dont know how many seats this was either. Best tournament structure on the internet. Why so many people complain about UB is beyond me. I dont give a rats ass about their custmore service. I am there to try to win money and I think their tournament structure is great and there arent 5000 people in every trouonament that you get into. The also have overlays on many of their tournaments.

I personally do not like the hand history option or the way the chat works or several other things about UB's software. BUT I do like their tourney structure. Who has a better structure thatn UB's tourneys' And Tourney structure is really the #1 option on choosing a site to play on for me. I have contacted UB's customer support 2 or 3 times and always got a quick response.

I played for 2 years on Dise and I am going to back Nutz up on this. I have been playing on pokerstars for 3 months and play primarily the sit and gos and 180 man tourneys. I played mostly MTT's on Dise. The beats I have seen and dished out on pokerstars are probably more than I saw 2 years while playing on DISE. I dont know what it is about pokerstars but it seems that when people complain about a site---Pokerstars is the one that comes up. I know more people play there.
