The fact is, ftp basically just does whatever the hell they want and it is the reason I have only played on that site ONCE in the last YEAR. Profit does not equal lack of empathy. F FULL TILT.

Re:Not your standard bankroll mgmt question
Not that i'm the authority on this, because I'm not, but playing large fields does NOT equal busting 300 buy-in rolls. I find it easier to cash in larger fields, because it's easier to hold on when you're close to the bubble. Not to mention, a top 5 finish in a large field is much more roi increasing than in a 500-person tourney.

Re:Not your standard bankroll mgmt question
It's simple...200 bia IS plenty, as long as your 200 bia is consistent with the up and down trend of your bankroll. You should be cashing 10% of the time anyway, it's the deep runs that make the real money here. The rest is sorta stagnant.

Re:Finding acceptance as a poker player
I understand where you are coming from...I've experienced sort of a double-whammy in terms of this, because I have been trying to find some real business-success online along with the poker thing... 2 things... 1. You don't need to tell people everything. People try to hold you back until you give them reason not to, doesn't just apply to poker. Your future success will be bittersweet and 10 times more personally gratifying. 2. Usually the reason for caring what other people think is because you have reservations about what you are doing as a poker player yourself. You have to ...

Re:Bank Closed My Account
I understand that hesitation---but I've been with these guys since 2005 and I've had 0 problems and have heard of none from ne1 else, the banking system on the other hand...let's not get into that. If you want a scam, go to a regular bank to do your poker transactions.

Re:Bank Closed My Account
Just get a prepaid debit card for like a one time fee of 9.95. I use, you can then cash your checks at walmart (up to $2999.99) every 7 business days....you get your money right when you get your check and it's a 3 dollar FLAT fee to cash the check...it's a good system. Also the deposit request will never be declined and you will never get overdraft fees...ever.

It's sick but also you're in a 2.20 buy-in, he could have something stupid like kq or worse, but based off of any logical explanation a call here is loose.

Micro Slow Grinder Competition Interest....
I am proposing a $3.25 45man Turbo Competition. (Stars) 100 Game Cap (We want people that don't necessarily 20 table...but grinders are welcome as well...) $20 dollar entry Private Leaderboard on S.S. Will come up with a prize structure and time span based off of interest and idea submission. My thought is that we allow 10 days to complete. Any thoughts' Interest' EDIT: Winner/s are based off of profit...this incentivizes those who complete the full 100 games.

Re:Poker, mental fortitude & (lack of) emotions
I definitely still tilt to this day, but I feel that the TYPE OF PERSON that turns out playing A LOT OF POKER has a certain set of shared character traits that shape how you go about your life either way. It is not what happens at the tables, but how you react as a person to what happens. This can translate into other areas of your life---frankly, by a lot of standards, I am CRAZY in the sense that I just do not stress about things at ALL. It's crazy to take a look at my friends and watch their almost daily anxiety attacks happen (figuratively) and just wonder what the fuck they are ...

I play poker through a pc to pc cord connected to my 50" plasma...makes u forget u even have a laptop, and u can just utilize the energy of the tv for the display, which will put less stress on ur laptop and therefore qualify a larger variety of laptop models...make sense'
