don't be a pussy, there was no spot where this fight would be stopped. Just rewatched it and carwin was flailing with brock fully covered up with all his senses in tact. don't get me wrong, he was geting pummeled to shit, but at no point was he not defending intelligently.

Not defending phil, but someone opens 6K and get's 2 callers, so theres 18k in the pot + blinds, so what, 20-21k' So he tripled the pot, not 10X.

As a lifetime baseball fan and player, that was a nice catch and a play of the week, but nothing that sick about it. But yes, it's pretty hard to catch a ball hit hard going over your shoulder like that, you have no perspective of it's angle or really where it is goint to end up at all, you just run a straight line and pray.

I've heard this same story 3 times now with different people in Ivey's spot. It's a good "story" but isn't true. And even the guy who wrote the article said he "heard a phil ivey anecdote". So it's not like he observed it himself.
