Re(5): Bankroll for 100r? Not really, that means that on average one will do 5 buyins and can treat it the same as a 545 freezeout for roll resoning. Look at the average number of buyins that most people do in rebuy tournaments as a whole. An average of 5 buyins is on the high side of what the other players do in a rebuy tournament so its not a bad estimate for a good player. I personally use 5 as a multiplier for calculating buyins for a rebuy tournament. Thus 50K seams resonable to me. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): How to handle the bubble in a SNG with cold cards ? "What should I do before this happens ' Loosen up ' Or that would be stupid and there's nothing I can really do except waiting for the next game and hope for better cards ' Because according to SNG wizard it looks like throwing money away." Loosen up is the right thing to do. You need also to play hands like 54s+ and Kx, Q8+, Qxs, J7+ Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): THE DREADED "POCKET JACKS" If you find TT or QQ easier to play - just treat JJ as one of them and play them exactly the same way. Personally I play QQ as JJ - a good hand preflop but if an A hits on the flop I try and see where I step very carefully. With JJ a Q high flop isnt the end of day as well a K high flop is not the end of days if I have QQ. The chance someone play a Q is less then someone play a K and even more less then that someone play an A. With only one overcard and it just the one over what I have I mostly are carefull but most of the time I'm ahead - especially against a single opponent left in the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Small or big blind steals in late stages of the tournament Do it yourself - ie. steal blinds from those behind you. If someone steal the blinds from you when you are in big blind and you resteal every 3rd time - and get away with it - you willl on average have lost 3BB from blinds and won 3+0,5(from SB) so you actually are ahead if you re-steal 1 time out of every 3. If you think you have better cards then the one stealing - either just call or re-raise. But remember sometimes the one you think is stealing actually are raising for value with a good hand. Re(4): MTT variance insurmountable? Simple - cash-games are boring. With tournaments one have early play, mid-level play, bubbel play, ITM-play and the final table. The way one play changes and there is a goal to win the tournament that one play for. In tournaments one sometimes play correctly to put all ones money into play by pushing with 72o. Casch game tightaments just fold, fold fold the bad hands and wait and wait and wait for those few good hands that they actually play. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Correct First-In Shove? The shove is awful! It can never be correct to shove 3/7 with junk like T9o only a fool won't think they will not call with a HUGE range of cards if you continue like this. Its ok if you have AK every time and also SHOW THE CARDS to make sure they know you aint stealing with any two cards but really has a hand. You still got 11+ Big blinds and can wait for much better cards. You have many hands left to play and will during that time find many hands much better than T9o. If the blinds will increase soon - dont shove it in now - wait until the blinds has increased - you will then gain more ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Ace Rag on Bubble? My standard advice when to learn how to play the final table is to learn how to play a singe table sng. You need to play the same way in a larger sng - play to get into the money and then to get a nice finishing position. Goin all-in with A-rags when 7 players left from UTG are maybe not the best option. Wait for a better spot. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
