Re:What do you do here ?
i also like the way you have played out the hand,on the turn though i would'nt be able to put him on a ace of spades with no raise pre and the lead on the flop it does not make sense that he has it.[smells like KQ or 77 after calling reraise on turn] So i would lead out on the river and try to get him to commit the whole of his stack.

Re:Tough spot with 99 (opinions plz)
with the blinds at only 300/600 there is no point in pushing such a hand, with no read on villian why risk your mtt life with 99 to a utg raiser. I think you can pick a better situation to get your chips in than this.

Re:$5.50 SnG final table: Good choice to play this hand?
Your raise was way to big as you are commiting yourself to the hand so an all in would of been better,if your objective was to steal the blinds then a std 3x raise would of been enough and if anyone acting after you calls or re-raises you can still check fold flop or fold pre [depending on reads / odds equity etc etc]and be left with 11bb which are still enough to start shoving all in with.

Re:Wondering About players who shove on flush draws?
i like you play a lot of low buy in mtts on stars and in the early stages it is a mine field of loose play, depending on what position i'm in to the villian and my stack size [can i take a hit] what i tend to do is just check call out of position on the flop and jam the turn if no 3rd suit comes,in position again if they lead [usually baby bet] and my read is that they tend to get aggressive to a reraise , then i will just call and again jam the turn. When i say jam the turn,i offer them them the wrong odds for there 4 to 1 shot.. If i'm not very well off in the stack size apartment ...

Re(7): 55 in big blind. MTT question
AT - not my favourite to shove with as a lot of people will call with A KQJ , again this is personal preference , getting in there with live cards i find doubles me up more than an ace 10,9,8,7,6 shove . Hope this helps you...!!

Re(5): 55 in big blind. MTT question
as above , you dont say what hand you shoved with , what works for me when I'm card dead and need to shove is try to do it with low/med connecters suited or unsuited 1 gap + 2 gap as this tends to assure me of 2 live cards and if its a raggy ace i prefer A 2,3,4 giving me a slight chance of a straight as well good luck

Re(2): did i make the right choice ??
the thing that keeps bugging me is the texture of the flop, i keep thinking that as i was on the button and that i had been checked to , should i taken a free card and if the turn card was not a heart or a card that helped connect the flop then with seeing the action ahead of me i then could of made the choice to bet hard '' any1 have any thoughts on this '

Re(1): 55 in big blind. MTT question
for me , this is a chance to steal so i would shove here all in and if he does call you stand a chance to double up . His hand range will be wide from LP and a raise to 400 looks like a steal to me..For me when you are near the point of needing to build up your stack and with your tight image he may just fold... folding though is not a bad choice but i would again be looking for a hand soon after to make a stand with to have a chance of doubling up...

finding it difficult playing on loose agressive tables.I tend to tighten up but when you are card dead and bluffs seem out of the question as the table is calling down anything, what on earth do you do ''''''

Re(1): 5/10- QQ facing AI
i would not call.... of all his possible holdings - AA KK would of reraised preflop AK AQ suited would of called JJ would of called TT 77 would of called 78 suited i would discount because of the raise preflop utg (presuming not loose player) i would put him on TT because the raise and call preflop, the call on the flop, the check on the turn because if i was him i would be putting u on a big pair and be trying to trap so there would be no worries on the flush draw front and then on the river the reraise with a full house hoping u might put me on a missed flush draw... I think if he had JJ he ...
