trying to get P to understand that the outcome is not the key to the hand is like pounding your head into a brick wall, or like pounding it into P's head since it is thick and dense like brick. Being all in with 4,7 is not the point of the article. Think about dead money in the pot, pot odds, stack sizes, calling light and table image.... figure that all into the way the hand played. If you still don't get it, don't be scared to open your horizons to something new so maybe you can get out of your $3 tournaments.

Neteller 75 days up tomorrow!
If I understand correctly what is supposed to be going on with the neteller debacle, they would issue a press release in 75 days from when the last press release came out stating a plan to get the US customers back their funds. Here is what that site itself says... Where the line is on pocketfives %'s....
Recently, pocketfives posted an article saying how the top 1% is just killing the rest of the field, which they really are. The curve is so exponential when it comes to the top 1%, that I was wondering where the break even line is for tournament players these days. are the top 10% staying ahead of the game' Top 20%' Maybe only the top 5%' I think it's fair to say that more good players are going broke now than ever. Being an outgoing poker player who's always looking to experience life, I'm debating moving over there to try out the poker lifestyle in a new country. Thoughts on timeline for neteller funds
I have seen plenty of posts on how much people have stuck in neteller and I just wanted to take a quick poll in light of everything that has transpired. Has there ever been a similar situation as this' Will the funds ever get returned' Is there any way around this prolem' I know no one really has the answers, but just would like to hear what peoples thoughts on the issue.

I HAVE MORE GOOD NEWS! I spoke with Speaker of the House (D. Hastert) and what he told me was that the only thing the bill covers is credit card deposits onto sites from banks. It speaks nothing of online poker being any more illeagal than it already is or isn't. Basically what i'm saying is that the opinion of is also the opinion of the third most powerful man in the country (world). ONLINE POKER WILL SURVIVE!

Neteller is used for so many other things though. How does the bank know if I got my money in neteller from playing poker, selling other items, filming porn, etc. No way they block all neteller functions and transactions. There is a much bigger picture here in what neteller does for pple other than poker.

Help, Full time player... to be or not to be, my situation
Here's the deal pocketfives community... I'm 27 years old and am a chiropractor. I recently figured out that the practice I'm in now is not a long term thing and have decided it's too poorly run to buy in. This leaves me with start my own, or go work for someone else, 50 hours a week, blaaah. I really don't have a lot of other obligations or strings, and have been a winning player for a couple years and after debts paid off, probably around 100k roll and I've also spent a lot of my winnings. Definitely if money is affecting your game and making you too tight of player, you are gonna get run over anyway and you may as well flush that higher buy in down the toilet than play it. I noticed that I kinda did that when I started playing the 200 sit n goes. I was so tight that I always ended up getting 5th b/c I would blind down, get short, and then go out. Once I realized exactly what was happening, I played my game and have never looked back. You have to look at your chips as bullets, and if you are scared to fire, you're just gonna lose.

Easy fold. You never want to play a medium ace in this situation. If he has a pair or an ace, you're basically screwed. Its always better to be first in the pot with 3,9 than to come over a raise with a bad ace. The type of hand you are really looking for is something with options. a J,9 of hearts, or a 7,8s type of hand.
