thoughts on live 1/2 hand I may suck at cash but this is a fold to me. You have just better than top pair. How comfy would you be getting it in here with something like A10' If you're not that comfy, JJ doesn't really change things much... it's a fold to me most of the times but if you're opponent is just spewing you can't fold... Nate Grow (bignate904) is a scammer, thief, and liar This may have some truth to it, but I think even if BF didn't happen Nate still would have ripped people off. anyways just wanted to say I too have had financial difficulties with Nate. I'm not going into detail as it happened about 2 years ago, and if I were to make it public I would have by now. But now as these type of threads have been emerging I want to also confirm that Nate is untrustworthy. Posted in: Poker Community |

Live Cash Games 1/2 & 2/5 tips anyone???? Good advice so far in this thread. I agree the main way to earn loot at these games is to smash flops for cheap and have them pay you off... But, I've noticed a few things about live cash now that I've been playing more since BF: First is: be prepared to run bad for hours and subsequently be tilty because of this. It is so easy to 'finally wake up with KK' and then over play a 9 high flop or whatever... When you are running bad and you do finally wake up, just remember what you are trying to accomplish, and even if you have to end up folding your aces after being card dead for hours, you ... Seeking MTSNG players on Stars! not like I'm a highly respected member of the community or anything but Nate certainly was shady in the business he conducted with me and it comes as NO SURPRISE people are having financial issues with Nate... also fwiw wacky, he won't admit he's wrong and he won't come in here paying anyone back, ever - that's just Nate for you Posted in: Stakers Forum |

Seeking MTSNG players on Stars! Don't post anymore, haven't played much since BF but.... I've been in business with Nate (in the past) and first and foremost P5s cannot let this guy advertise here. He may not be a full blown scam artist but any opportunity he gets he will take for his personal benefit, without question. So anyways... I've met him IRL ( a long long time ago) and he seemed OK - besides the tattoo of a naked girl with a gun on his forearm.... A lifetime ago I was involved in some business with Nate (won't go into much detail) but long story short he cannot be trusted. I would never recommend nor do business ... Posted in: Stakers Forum |

Thinking about moving to Panama...for good. not sure if it is an issue with OP or not, but if he's planning on never coming back to the states to live here I think it's in his best interest to get rid of his US visa. If he plans to grind online and make small money to just get by, it will be that much easier for him if he doesn't have to pay US taxes on his income my dad just moved out of the US for good and is residing in Panama for the time being (his move is not poker related at all)... once I graduate college in 5 mo. I'm moving there as well and giving up US citenzship so I know a lot about the process etc... Posted in: Poker Community |

Any news on Full Tilt? pure speculation but they may just be waiting until the 21st to release the details of the buy-out. since the deal must happen so quickly, buyers are most likely to use up all the time allotted to them - especially in this instance because they're buying a company that has been indicted by the US government. obv i'm just being optimistic tho, gl us Posted in: Poker Sites |

Consolidated Fold AA/KK Preflop Thread i don't really see why you 6-bet. it doesn't really matter what the sizing was, he isn't gonna just 7-bet ship lite here and if he is then we can always 6bet hands like QQ/AK etc but that won't be the case if he is really good and makes money... and the whole "i never fold Kings pre" logic is really flawed, especially if you're gonna play 400bb deep... a hand from the venetian deepstack. yeah check / jamming is no good on flop I'll def admit that. I guess what I meant by c/j flop is too c/r it, cus i can't really see us doing this as a bluff too often and therefore the raise is essentially a jam. I def don't mind just barelling off here and in real time it's likely the approach I'm gonna take. However, I think he calls a check raise with everything but air on the flop, maybe a Ten folds too. QJ, hearts, and his Kings stay around for at least a turn. Now the pot is in much better shape for us too jam, and get some donk to possibly think he has odds to call off with his draws. ... a hand from the venetian deepstack. don't disagree with gags but C/J flop is going to look most like a FD which is why I say it looks weakest. I spose were are deep enough to make a c/r on the flop leaving us with a jam on the turn (i really like this option). what I'm most concerned with is if we lead the flop and he just calls, were left in a weird spot on the turn just cus we can't really jam (well we could, but this would be a little more than a PSB). we'd have to make another bet and be left in terrible spots when he just flats and the river comes out like it did. fwiw, I think this hand has a ton to do with who you are ... a hand from the venetian deepstack. first off fold pre imo... secondly I think check/jamming flop looks weakest and therefore is the best play. if he's got like KQ he wouldn't fold if you check/jammed flop for instance. not really a big issue if he checks behind. if he does check the flop, you can extract value from most tens on the turn for sure, and possibly the river if you value bet it correctly which is why i'm just checking here... AK off in live 2-5 game... agree with manch. This decision is much tougher if your sitting on more stack, but with your 320 not even being a full buy-in this seems like a reasonable spot to ship it in pre. OBV he prolly woke up with something but i wouldn't be surprised if he has a hand like 88. In my limited cash game experience, the person who straddles normally plays his straddle aggressively, which could be the case here. basically i don't think he just needs KK/AA to make this raise, and I'm guessing a lot of times you get it in pre with him he shows the same hand as you... 10 - 15 bb shoving range it's funny how online this would happen, and you just X out of the window and move on. Live def makes you think... but this shove seems fine (although i don't know the stacks behind). if stacks are deeper, which they probably were, shoving 33 is fine but this is certainly something I do watch for in spots like this cus the calls for your opponents become lighter and lighter the shorter they are and 33 is almost always a flip Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Venetian Deepstack Hand turn raise is suspicious. trips is so unlikely cus we have one of the Qs. FH is also unlikely cus seems like he'd just call there to try and let you catch up (pure speculation here) doesn't seem like there are many hands in his value range the way he played it Posted in: Poker Discussion |
