Final table - snap jam right or?
100% positive anything but getting it in with AK pre is just wrong. You're over-analyzing.

QQ 3bet 50bb deep
You started the hand with just under 51 bb.......it's just a bad spot but I agree that betting the turn is better than checking. Check call the river and hate it most of the time but probably don't have to go broke.

33 on the button with 10 bb
Put him on a range of hands and decide if you're +EV vs that range. If you can't count on him folding, what range of hands are you ahead of' If you're not ahead there are better spots to come......10bb is not a hopeless situation.

shove or fold from sb?
100% positive I'm not open folding sb v bb with 25% of my starting stack value in the pot already ($300K) and 12bbs to start the hand. Ever. And is it a stupid question to ask if QKo is a snap call here from the bb'

Checking the nuts on the river
Your EV checking behind is 0. Your EV betting is >0. Friendly or not, he could have easily been less than honest about not having a spade hoping like hell you check behind with a worse hand. Each to his own but passing up +EV spots of any kind seems a bit absurd. I guess the exception to this is if you're buddies with the guy, at which point it clearly is collusion with or without penalty.

bankroll management ? - epic fail
Bad players that (a) get lucky and run way above EV or (b) are wealthy in the first place are the cornerstone of the poker economy. If you're worried about the ethics of the situation, you might be playing the wrong game. It is true that for the most part this kind of train wreck benefits the high stakes regs, but that's just human nature. Not much in it for the average grinder besides entertainment!

Final table of 180-man SNG - puke/fold or puke/call?
Never folding. Quite honestly this is exactly how I want the hand to play out when I open QQ with 29bbs, especially vs a brutal player. It really doesn't matter what he has.

This should prove the skill vs. luck argument to your mom. There are many more examples out there. But this is a pretty good start. Good luck.

Re:How the heck is it supossedly hard for people to hold onto their winnings if they're not losing it back?
Almost nobody, including the vast majority of US poker players, have a remote clue what the UIGEA is. The general public doesn't give a shit about legislation governing online poker, they just think poker players are gamblers and thus degenerates.

Re:24% ITM... Problem that it's this high?
No. Ave ITM for top 100 ranked players on OPR is 16%. If you're >20% you're probably way too concerned with min-cashing.

It is hilarious that you don't see that you could reverse the ages in your post and explain the dynamic between every 50 year-old parent and 20 year-old kid on the planet.

Re:Am I correct ? Aimed toward profitable micro mtt players.
What makes you think you 'need' to play anything other than ABC poker to beat anything less than, say... $55 MTTs' IMO you answered your own question by punting your roll playing 'creative' poker. "I can't wait to eventually play in bigger buy in tournaments with good thinking players because that will allow me to really see where I stand poker wise and will allow me open my game up a bit and get fancy in certain spots, which I feel cannot be done at the micro levels because all they do is have that magnet attached to there fingers and just flat call everything down ...

When a country of 34 million produces over 1/2 the NHL players worldwide (52.3% for the 2009-2010 season), it is OUR GAME. The United States, with a population of 304 million, is a distant second at 22.2% It's amazing that any of you think this is even controversial.

Re:Early Preflop Spot w/ QQ - Stars $162
Pikap, since you said you aren't sure what is optimal here with QQ/AK it would be interesting to run your 2009 hand histories through PokerTracker and see what the numbers are. I am not convinced that you profit chips over time flatting QQ here. I think it would be more or less unanimous from good cash game players that flatting QQ here 100bbs deep in full ring, absent reads, would be horrible. I'm not sure why 100bbs deep early in a tournament is any different mathematically.

Re:Early Preflop Spot w/ QQ - Stars $162
By your passive action pre-flop you are conceding the advantage to not 1, but 2 opponents that will act after you in a multi-way pot. You have not given either of them an opportunity to make a mistake. How is this +EV' My post-flop example is just semantics.
