Re:Twitter.
I keep a running list of poker people using Twitter, including players, reporters, sites, ect. Let me know if you know of anyone to add. As for the usefulness of it, @WPTliveupdates and @WSOPliveupdates are putting up results and updates as tournaments happen.

Re:Monitors that rotate 90degrees..
I have a 26" one that rotates like that. Tried it for awhile and just went back to using it the way it used to be. More of a novelty than anything, I just couldn't get used to looking up and down to see mulitple tables instead of left and right.

Re:Midwest Regional Poker Championships at Horseshoe Southern Indiana
The events you mentioned probably won't get huge fields, more than likely less than 100 players. Horseshoe has bumped their tourney structures to more "deep" stacks, if you want to call them that. Regardless, better than what they used to be. Should be nice fields for all the NL events. Don't worry about the freeroll though. Total crapshoot if you are even able to get in as a reserve. I'll be there for all the events, should be fun...

Re:David Rheem
Cosign... If there were a list of the nicest and most genuine people in the poker world, Chino without a doubt would be near or at the top of it. I don't know about any of this stuff, nor do I really care. Unfortunately, making the final table of the Main Event and having to wait four months to play it will bring out stuff like this on everybody, true or not...

Re:sheets' horses?
I don't post a whole lot of things, but I thought I should here. First, I have probably watched Sheets/Bax/Waco ect. play in big live events in person as much as anyone else. I can tell you without the slightest bit of hesitation that there is no soft play at all in their games if they are seated together. Bax even knocked one of his own horses out of one 10K event early on in the tournament when both were the two chip leaders. Bax bet, horse moved all in for a huge reraise with the nut flush draw and Bax made the call with top set. It would have been very easy for one or the other to ...

Court is easily one of the hardest workers out on the road. In addition, he is the nicest and coolest kid you could ever hope to meet... One of the highlights of every trip we go on is being able to hang with Court.

Re(2): new rule at wpo...thoughts?
We ask for clarification on this exact scenerio after they made the announcement. Even if you are 100% sure that the player would fold and you want to see their cards, you will receive the penalty if you do not bet. In addition, if there is a bet on the river and you are last to act with the nuts, if you just smooth call, you will receive the 10-minute penalty. This was another question we asked and tournament officials just made an announcement regarding this. whojedi

Re(4): Trying to find out about Mizrachi/Sebok FT at Mirage
Sebok won the event. Just over $139,000 and the $10,000 buy in to the WPT event at the Mirage. Sebok actually knocked out Grinder. Sebok raised preflop and Grinder called from the button. The flop was nine high with two spades. Sebok bet and Grinder raised to $150,000 (he had just over $200,000 total). Sebok moved all in and Grinder called. Sebok had pocket nines for a set and Grinder had a suited A-5 of spades. The turn paired the board to give Sebok his full house and he had Grinder covered by about $30,000. That gave Sebok over $400,000 chips with no other player over $100,000 at the ...

Adelson calls and shows Kh-Qh. Josephy flips over 8c-5s and will need to improve. The board does just that for "JohnnyBax" as it comes Ad-7d-4c-8h-3d.
