I have found that many people do not realize that when playing Omaha (PLO or H/L), there are six different ways to play 2 of the 4 delt cards. That's what makes playing cash game Omaha so profitable and the reason why AAxx loses so much value postflop and/or in a multi way pot. IMO, the OP played preflop fine (I woulda' just flatted) but had a mindfart post flop. We live and learn.

Very bad all-in reraise preflop. You don't have a very powerful scoopable high hand. You were basically begging for clubs and really you only look good for a low and that is not a given. That's why cash game omaha is so profitable. When beginners have A-2, they are willing to lose all their chips/money on an unmade hand.

I only have one question............... why do you have a B.Arts degree in Biology' It is my understanding that all Biology degrees are B.Science classification. From my experience, every university in the United States classifies majors in Biology as a B.Science. I have a BS in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Alabama so that is what caused me to wonder why yours is a BA.

Until a regulatory body is formed similiar to how the Nevada Gaming Commission works, online poker will never be void of the JJ's and the gb's etc. cheating innocent players out of their money. If gbmantis knew that he could face 5 to 10 years in federal prison for cheating (laundering / wire fraud), maybe he would not have been involved with JJ. Or maybe JJ would have never started cheating (but I doubt that). Do some research, the Nevada Gaming Commission DOES NOT mess around with cheaters. They will throw your ass in prison without 2nd thought, and this is the only realistic way ...

Yes there lots of good action, but I have yet to find a low limit Om h/l game where there isn't. The game at the V had 3-4 locals that played everyday. They were average at best. One shouldn't be playing at all. One was a dealer who was a bald, older gentleman. Extremely nice. I was lucky and got to play with several young, cocky-for-some-reason holdem only players that thought omaha h/l was played the same way as NLH thus I cashed out w/profit 4 out of 5 times I played. Most players bought in for $150 - $200. The time to exploit the game is with the 1/2kill in effect. Big ...

The vast majority of straddlers are very aggressive and will reraise their straddle bet with any 2 cards. I cannot tell you how many times I have simply double called pre-flop with a premium hand and trapped their little straddling ass to the dry felt. That usually stops the nonsense during that session.

The service rep at Dell was the one that informed me about the info I provided. I must have gotton it confused with something else. Regardless, yes Microsoft, Dell, Intel, etc can tell info about specific computers. So can banks. I have online banking. i use my lap top all the time. i tried to log into my bank account from a desktop that I never use. A security login came up stateing the I had never logged into Wachovia with that computer and I needed to provide them with the answer to my security question. Each computer has it's very own specific MAC identity . It is the computers equivilant to your fingerprint or even better your DNA. They know someone logged into your account from one particular computer that had been proven to be fraudulant. When you get updates from Microsoft, they check your MAC "address" to make sure that you have legit software license. Poker sites record the MAC ...

Lets say that your neighbor doesn't secure their wireless signal..........and you have another computer (thus giving you another MAC address) all you have to do is jump on their wireless network and the pokersites will not have one way to prove anything. How they get you is with the money trail. they don't care about catching the multi accounter that donates to the site, but I'm sure they watch where that prize money goes. So the winning multi accounter has to be careful to establish other accounts they still enable him to cash out and actually deposit checks at real banks.
