PS $10 rebuy - Range Help
I can't run it right now, but just download pokerstove if you don't have it and it's pretty easy to put in any range you'd like for the villain and compare your actual hand's equity vs. that range...

PS $10 rebuy - Range Help
I'd probably opr the guy to get a sense of how competent he is, but I might assume a range of A10s, AJo+, KQ and any pairs 77 or better' Maybe something like that is reasonable, then just stove your hand vs. that range (or whatever range you decide) and see if you have the right % to call.

river spot in $8/12k
Meh, I'm having a lot of trouble putting this guy on a hand. It looks like maybe AA or KK but you have one of each of those making them less likely, but still possible. if he called you with 22 pre, that's pretty bad. I can't imagine what hand with a 10 in it calls preflop OOP...if he has 10's and you got quaded than lol what can you do. His line looks like either KQ to me or a busted flush draw. I dunno what I do on the river, probably calling given how much $$ in the pot and I think you're good here a decent enough % of the time. not excited about it though

$20r hand
disagree with your first point. Good players are very capable of checking that river with a flush to induce a bluff, I don't at all think it would be unlucky if he has them he very well might. on your second point villain acts first so not sure what you mean when you say check/call or c/r instead of leading out' When we're checked to on the turn and that 10 hits, I can't imagine ever checking back, there are a lot of cards you don't want to see on the river and giving him a free card is not a good idea

Deep in the 40K KO, tough spot.
you mention he's been opening a lot, so I like the 3 bet pre if nothing else to help narrow his range. as others mentioned, choice now is shove or fold and I'm folding...

Setmining in Low Stakes MTTs
I completely agree OP. In lower stakes, I think 15:1 is plenty and it's the rule of thumb I use. I'd probably look for 20:1 in higher stakes because people are more competent, but it's really easy to get micro players to stack off 60 blinds with JJ on a 10-6-4 board, really easy...

AA utg
I don't think it's transparent at all tbh and I would agree it looks more like a mid-pair or AK, AQ. The only reason I might open for 2.2x-2.5x is because there are so many reshove stacks behind you, there's probably a good chance one of them gives you the pile. If the stacks were generally bigger, I think open shoving this is just fine.

are pocket eights even playable?
that's pretty much an auto-shove for me, wouldn't even think about it for a second really. idk, maybe that's a leak of mine because it sounds like some good players think it's pretty close

$40 Live MTT,Early spot with AK WWYD
flat pre. you're ultra deep and in position with no reads on the guy. 3 betting isn't terribad but flatting is better. edit: didn't notice the guy opened for 5x lol. makes a 3 bet a little better prolly, but I'd still flat. 5x open suggests this guy sucks, and the shove confirms it. Snap call and he's showing AQ or AJ I'd guess.

not hating but mbn
Well, I mean if your ABI is like $3 bucks and all of a sudden you buy in 4x to a $215 major, that is a little weird, no' It's taken me an awful long time to grind from a $3 abi to $20 or so, I would never have thought of dropping $800 for 4 buyins to a Sunday major. If your abi is $3, your roll is probably

getting started micro styles !
I mean, how much do you feel comfortable depositing' Do you know the game pretty well or are you just starting out' The 4.40 180's on stars were my personal bankroll builder, but you probably should have at least 1k or so to start with those. All depends on your skill level and financial situation I think. gl

Tough preflop spot in $1 tourney. Thoughts?
raise folding a 20bb stack isn't generally a good idea, but sometimes it makes sense. Holding 10 10 in a $1 buyin is not one of those times. call

good/Bad 3 Bet Shove? FT 50/50
I'm guessing OP meant does he (OP) have fold equity' Answer is definitely yes, you're forcing this dude to call off half his stack. Given how active he's been, this looks like a perfect reshove spot to me and you just got unlucky to hit the top of his range. Next time bink an A and ship. wp op
