They'd probably stop shutting down cities for manhunts but the damage would still be huge. Boston Marathon bombing If he had to be taken out immediately and drones had the same accuracy as snipers then there is no difference. The main point though is when is it OK to kill a US citizen without due process' I only brought it up because an apparent American citizen acted in war like fashion and is on the run so with the right intelligence the easier out may be to kill him by any means even though every effort should be made to apprehend him alive. Boston Marathon bombing I find it pretty astounding that there isn't a lot more random terrorist activity. Two guys managed to get a large city to shut down. Imagine what it would be like if for even a few consecutive days bombs went off in shopping malls, movie theaters, sporting events, etc. It would be chaos.
