After reading Lirva's post and then his bio, it's obvious he has some "issues". As for praying aloud at a poker table, I'm a Christian, and I find that pretty annoying.

LOLZ............I had almost exactly the same thing happend to me with KK. The only slight difference was that it was in .5 .10 NL and the sucker who went allin with Ad7d only had like $2.50 at the time. I'zzzz still pissed though:-)

They did do a chip chop, but since there was not a huge difference in chips at the time, it didn't make a huge difference (relatively speaking) in the final numbers. The CL ended up losing.

IMO, the other games just don't suit TV very well. I have nothing against Stud, but I sure as heck don't want to watch it on TV. I love Omaha, but don't really care to watch it on TV either.

Taylor, I'd love to have you as a poker mentor. Unlike some poster(s), I have no doubt that there is much you can teach me, especially on the cash side. I've been playing on and off for about a year and a half. I'm not advising anyone to "drop out", but you guys do realize you can go back to school at any time, right' Some of you act like if you leave school, they're gonna close the joint down for good. If I was making the jack the some of you kids are making, I'd hit as hard as I could for as long as I could. Just make sure you're putting plenty away and not blowing (no pun intended) it all. Edit: When I say "school", I'm referring to college, not high school. Although, I guess you could go back to high school, too.

People always say, "you can play poker when you're done with school." If you're raking it in bigtime with poker, just make sure you put plenty away and don't blow it. As an "old geezer" who just discovered online poker a couple years ago, I really envy you young kids who have all the time in the world to play. You can go back to school anytime (I know, I've done it TWICE!) Play while you're young, it may not be so easy when you get more complications (family, etc) in your life.

Ditto, what everyone else has said. Had my first session last night and more than covered the cost of the lesson with the first SNG. Jen is an excellent teacher. The four hours seemed like 15 minutes. Thanks, Jen.

"Contact jennifear, I hear thats the latest fad." Don't know if it's a fad or not, but I'll just say this. Had my first SNG session with Jen last night, and it was paid for by the first SNG:-) I dunno, maybe I was just that bad to begin with, but I learned a ton last night. It's all stuff I had likely read in a book, but it sticks better when I'm able to see it applied live. Jen is very good at explaining moves/strategy on the fly. Highly recommend her for helping what ails your SNG game. (In my case, it was applying a can of WD-40 to my tight **s to loosen it up) LOL.
