Good explanation. I just like the easy way that asp is visually skinned. I dont know if you can create the interface as easy with java as asp. That, and ultimately this will be a plugin for a big CRM, which uses an intense SQL database, and multiple plugins, including mail merging, mass emailing off database queries, html creation through the site itself, etc. Once I start with one language, I'd like to keep the whole thing across the projects, for easy of plugging in. Interesting debate though, now I seriously have to consider java. argh.

The competitor site, is done in JSP... which, I dont know much about... some sort of hybrid of asp and java' I'll pm you the site and see what you think.

All good... all ASP really is, is a visual framework for C sharp and VB. It just happens to have a ton of good plugins and a new core control called AJAX. I just suck at programming, and this is beyond what I can do. =) I figure someone here is a programmer tho, and both of these programs have the possibility of future insanely successful commercial applications through partnership... but for now they are my internal corporate use, till they are ready.

Anyone here a programmer or know anyone' I'm already looking into the getafreelancer/elance posting, infact I already posted... and had a crapload of bids, but... I figured I'd ask around here, since we got some smart f-ers. Have 2 pretty large projects, that require ASP/AJAX possibly just PHP... one of them is a heavily databased site, the other is database/image handling. If you are extremely experienced or can direct me to a referral, PM me pls. =)

Erm, so... i get it, he played under a couple other accounts, to avoid the embarassment of playing lower. Ya, he broke the rules, but atleast he wasnt colluding or playing two accounts. I don't see what the huge outrage is, many of the pros have multiple accounts. The complainers should only be the ones that were playing against him in these games, and had their reads off not knowing it was him. Not the guys playing .01/.02 calling him a cheater.

1) FSBO services like craigslist, forsalebyowner and giving owners a broader reach and relying less on realtors. 2) The massive nationwide MLS system, and Central Showing Services that really make it easy to find and show a house. 3) Virtual Tours 4) Electronic Signatures for the loan process, you never have to meet with someone, nor ever receive a piece of actual paper from them. E-Faxes make this alot easier.

Honestly, the whole board has become one big penis envy contest. I've lost so much respect for a ton of players lately, just because they keep running their mouth here on the board. If you don't have anything constructive to contribute to someone's game, then don't talk about them on PD period. Spend the time you would have berating people, into something constructive in your game, or in your life. The mkind/gank/sowers b.s. is some of the stupidest shit Ive ever seen on p5s. With the money you guys win, why don't you atleast look into penis pills or some sort of surgery.

I feel like I've been playing pretty damn good poker, but... it seems, I can't catch a break at all. I get my chips in ahead, and it doesn't matter. I'm stuck playing these stupid 5 and 10$ tourneys, even though I have the money in the bank to bankroll myself for 50s. What do you do to boost your confidence to start playing the levels you think you should be'

Uhh, could you not put the tourney stakes on the top bar of the window' Plenty of space if you take out "Tournament" It's annoying to have to double check the lobby.

Agreed, Mike is just saying it because he's supposed to be the asshole, whether or not he believes it, I'm not really sure. That being said, he's still an unbelievable poker player when he's on his game... and he's got alot of issues he needs to deal with. I wouldn't take it to heart... half of the "pros" could berate Annette, and it really wouldn't make any difference, because she's still made history.
