Re:Hellmeuth Owns the WSOP it was overruled because the original penalty was assessed on an incident that occurred after the players were done for the night. when he got the original warning play was still going on, however the berating started after the clock had stopped. with that said, they probably made a loophole for him and will justify as that Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): 3/5 NL (Live)...pocket QQ, late position so a little bit more context...the buy-in at the table is $200 max (commerce casino)...i had about $400, EP had little less than $200, and MP had about $650... I checked the turn, 4th spade came on the river, EP pushed in for the rest of his chips about $100 ish...MP folded, I folded...he showed his and a .... i feel whatever i bet on the turn, he would of called as he was willing to gamble and the turn only made his obscene flop call look more attractive..one ended straight draw... 3/5 NL (Live)...pocket QQ, late position Get dealt in cutoff...loose table, 4 limpers ($5BB) so pot of about $27...from cutoff I raise it to $35. Get called by early position (very loose player) and MP (semi-decent). Flop checked to me, and based on my read I know that if EP had an ace, he'd bet, and MP would bet any strong Ace.. ACTION'' I bet a little less than half pot...get called in both positions... Turn Checked to me again...what do i do' I think if EP has a big spade he calls my bet, and MP could already have the flush to call ''' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Hand ? from Stars 1 Million well, personally after that kind of action, i'd have to fold to duda since he re-raised a re-raise...id figure he is pretty pot commited already putting in 50% of his stack into the pot on the flop, so you can save yourself 3.6K or so...i'd put someone on a set or AK.... Re(1): what to do?? well, on the turn i bet half the pot to see where i was at but also show that i'm strong...im not sure the river bet was appropiate..i dont know, was hoping that it looked very strong against that board, and i'd get a call unless someone had A high flush... results were i folded, other players showed no flush, both players had wheel (a-5)...i cracked up.... Re(2): tourney play strategy? i view the cards in relation to the community cards...i sometimes like to play pretty loose early and build my chip stacks by seeing cheap flops and hitting big hands (donking it up)...works pretty effective a lot of times, to get a big stack or bust out... other times, i'll play tight early and chip away, but a lot of times in these situations i'll end up with average stacks, near money or ITM but not be able to make the FT... just wondering what others though of these contrasting strategies...i haven't had time to analyze my game as i play a lot live and am starting to play a little bit ...
