Re(4): Miuro SNG question Yes 21% is easily sustainable by playing ABC poker in this and understanding bubble play/ICM. However the 20% rake is very hard to beat (trust me, I started off with the $1/18s on stars), I recommend building the BR to even $150 and taking a shot at some 4/180s. They're ridiculously soft and I don't understand why more people don't play them. Place high in 2 of those and you're rolled for the turbo $3s Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Online players ever get respect they deserve from live pros? What do you all think' Personally I think it has been made quite obvious that net players are on the same level as these live pros (I'm talking tournament poker btw) but a lot of the live pros (the Hellmuths, Matusows etc) are too ego driven to admit just how talented a lot of the internet pros are (Brian Townsend, lilholdem, Mr.Menlo. Basically the rankings on your right ->>) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

*HELP*WHICH CR Videos? (18&180 SNGS) I'm a SNG player, usually 18man and at the moment 4/180s, sometimes 9man, sometimes 45man. I want to know what are the best SNG videos on card runners, I'm going to buy a membership for a month and with my limited download amounts I'm looking for advice on which videos to get exactly. So basically the best videos that will assist in 18man/180man SNGs. Also when my roll is up a bit higher I'm going to start playing MTTs so any basic MTT videos would be good as well, how to play at the beginning/as blinds go up/nearing bubble etc. Thanks guys, I don't want to seem lazy I just don't want to ... Re(2): When did you finally break through playing MTTs? Can you shed some light on what is the 'right way' to think about MTTs' I'm a pretty successful SNG player, both 9man and 18man but I have no clue when it comes to MTTs, I think this is because the strongest part of my game is playing shorthanded >:( Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Switching from 18man SNGS to 180s. Whats the main difference? So I've been grinding out 18mans for the past few months and I think my strength really is playing shorthanded. A friend has staked me to play 5 of the $4/180s but I have no clue how to play them since I'm almost always going to be at a full table, are there any writeups/tips you guys can share with me on them' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Play a deep stack tourney differently? I'm going to be playing in a 20,000 starting stack tournament on sunday. There will most likely be about 50 people playing in it and the blinds will go up every 45minutes I think. What's the general rule for playing deep stack tournaments' I'm so used to starting with 1,500 chips Posted in: Poker Discussion |
