Re(2): EDIT: Ship $5000 Courtesy of Nicky Hilton and Mike Caro..
Didn't see any more bounties who are still in. I got the boot at 73rd. Tourney was a great deal considering us doyle's room virgins also get our buyin back.

Re(2): Doyle's Room Bounty: Play Doyle Heads Up for $5k!
We are hand for hand. Does the 27.50 rebate directly go into your account after the tourney, when you are eliminated, or is there something we have to do to get it'

Re(1): The Winner Is..
OUCH. I believe I was a finalist as well. Got a PM from TC a few days ago with more questions about my game. I am a losing cash game player with all of my profits coming from tournaments. 55k in the bank from cash games doesn't sound like someone who needs much help but that could just be my stress talking. I only found out about this news right now as I have been keeping myself busy with grades and didn't want to get distracted. I am very disappointed to say the least but I wouldn't even have the opportunity to feel this if TC wasn't as gracious as he has been to start this contest so I do ...

Re(4): I want a student.
My profession is teaching and that is as much of a passion of mine as poker so I think we can both learn a lot from each other. My school has had the highest crime rate out of any Middle School in Los Angeles County over the past two years (according to our campus LAPD officer) so I have had the pleasure of saving lives for a living at 26. Unfortunately I get paid crap for the important work that I do. My dream would be for me to give my family a comfortable enough lifestyle financially through poker so that I can continue to stay in the classroom forever. Sadly enough, I am already feeling ...

49 people came out! Thank you all SOOO much for your support and for PFives support in this great cause as well. If you were unable to make a donation and would like to support the kids then visit tonight or tomorrow and then email me and/or Susie your name along with how much you donated so that I can make sure that you get a letter/receipt from them and so we can also find out truly how much this event has raised for the kids! Thank you everyone!!! Kage geindians@

Every penny of that $10 entry fee will be going directly to the kids. The other $10 goes to the prizepool. Regardless of what buyin level you normally play, I look forward to seeing you all Tuesday night. Register ASAP to show support for our children!

Re(2): Free entry into UB $150+$150 Red Cross event for a P5er
My job is rewarding but not financially so buy-ins like this one are far away from me unless I win a seat. I teach in a rough neighborhood and have been the difference for many children in bad situations. By being a part of this tournament I would also be in some way making a difference in a child's life who has also been very unfortunate since the destruction that happened in the south. Talk is cheap but making a difference is something I do for a living so I also walk the walk as you are doing here. Thank you for your generosity in giving to the cause and at the same time allowing one of us ...

Re(9): Why big tournies suck
Was it a full moon last night' I was also seduced by my gf. In response to the topic though...I beat almost 700 players in the dog 100k but took 65th (63 got paid) after getting rivered like no other. Sure, it sucks various farm animal anus after putting in all that work and not getting anything in return. If I win that last hand like I should've then who knows how much I could've made in return yesterday. Although they are such big fields in these events, you all still play them because of the fact that these large fields create what can possibly become an enormous payday. If these fields ...

Re(2): What do you guys think?
I had an entire post written out about why he didn't have aces and then the more I think about the situation, the more I need to know about it. He may have had it. How many times the bb did this guy normally raise and how many times the bb normally drove the table out of the game' If 3.5 was about a normal raise from him then I could easily have him on less of a hand. At that point he could've been reacting to you defending your blinds and/or think you were trying to gain the advantage going to the flop, then thinking his QQ was the best hand and was willing to take the pot there without the ...

Re(3): Hand from 20 dollar MTT
Nice to see an interesting HH that doesn't include a bad beat against themselves. Not here to say what is wrong or right by his play but this post was very good. Criticism can be helpful but only if it is presented in the right way. Name calling wont help. Although I only skimmed through the replies it sounds like some of you were tearing him (readzie) apart. Thanks to readzie for posting what he was thinking during this common situation that came up for him during this tournament. If you disagree with something then do so but there is no reason to insinuate that he is dumb for it. To keep ...

I get migraines at least once a week. If you get them often then send me an email and I can give you some advice on how to deal with them. They used to paralize me for the entire day. They rarely ever ruin my plans anymore and go away within an hour. geindians@
