However, I think even you can agree with the numbers that were presented in the piece which are pretty much public knowledge...ie National debt, and food stamp expenditures. Indeed the fuzzy math that is coming out of the white house on this lowest spending shenanigans is certainly propaganda.

Look obviously the President has to deal with Congress, but it's not called the bully pulpit for nothing. The Pres sets the tone and should be the lighting rod for what happens in Congress. We could model our system like the Japanese. I saw a program on tv that talked about how most companies there actually measure their employee's waistlines as an obesity test. If they get too fat, they make them get on a weight loss plan. If they don't adhere, they get fired. It's all done under insurance liability precautions.
