In order for hockey to grow in warm weather markets, the team must have success for an extended period. Hockey does very well here in Colorado because we were very good for an extended period. The Avalanche moved to town and won the Stanley Cup the first season, they followed that up with a bunch of deep playoff runs including another Cup victory. This planted the seeds needed for youth hockey to really build up a solid base. He wrote some short stories set during the time when the Targaryens were still in Westeros. The first one is called The Hedge Knight. Another fantasy series you might like is The Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson. It has already been completed and it's pretty bad ass. The first book in that series is Gardens of the Moon.

Lost Rewatch
Lost would have been so much better if a channel like AMC had aired it. There wouldn't have been 24 fucking episodes per season in the beginning and the writers would have had to cut out all the fluff to get to the shit that actually mattered. Still a decent show, but if the writers had any discipline it would have been much better.

I'm with you there, I really hope they do as well with the second season as they did with the first. I would have loved some more Hound, direwolves, etc in the first season, but I feel like they did a great job bringing the book to life.

I realize that is still quite a ways away, but GOT was definitely one of the best new shows last year. Homeland is a very very close second in my opinion, but I feel that GOT blew way more minds than it did at the time it was released. If you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, please, do yourself a favor and make that shit happen before season 2 starts, you will not be sorry.

Would you live in a tent?
Just so you know, camping in Colorado in early May will be very cold at night. The days would be fine, but it will be below freezing in the mountains several times a week and it would probably still snow once or twice. Plus, most spots won't even have good phone coverage, let alone 3 or 4G I agree that southern Utah is fucking amazing for hiking/camping. Summer can be brutally hot, but spring and fall are pretty much perfect. You can add Escalante and the Paria Canyon to that list of bad ass places in that area. Gilmore vs. Waters...
PF is definitely one of my all time favorite bands and I think it was the sound of Gilmore's guitar that defined Pink Floyd. Shine On just wouldn't be the fucking hugely epic song it is without the delicate yet intense guitar solo at the beginning, the same goes for Dogs, Comfortably Numb, Pigs, etc... That being said, we wouldn't be talking about either one of them if they hadn't met each other. +1 to The Division Bell being way underrated.

Yeah, I've played multiple games against people I suspected of cheating so I could get better, but they were people I don't see regularly in real life. There is no way I let someone I see all the time walk around and tell people they are beating me when I think they cheat.
