What is the longest you have stayed awake? Continuously
I can't believe working the NDT/NDE industry that you haven't worked some crazy hours. I used to have 100+ hr weeks on the reg. Longest time on one project (continuously) was 61 hrs. Longest time being awake was like 100hrs, you go through such a range of emotions. Kinda fun. You get to know alot about yourself.

When I was like 14 I had Kid Rock's "Devil Without A Cause" CD and my dad happened to find it. Anyone who knows what the cover looked like knows there was a big middle finger. Long story short, my dad didn't approve of it or the title of the last song on the CD "Fuck Off". So when I couldn't find my CD one day after I left it laying out, I walked into the living room to find my dad holding the CD in his hand. He saw the middle finger, took one look at me....and crushed it in his hands. R.I.P. Devil Without A Cause CD.

At the "advanced" age of 13 when I wanted money I went and mow lawns around town, or raked people's leaves, etc etc. Then I took a dishwashing job. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so I'm not saying anyone is wrong. But from the chores he described (and she described) she was hardly the butler of the house. 20 mins of chores a day is not deserving of getting paid anything. It's about sending the message of helping out and doing your part as a family.

So at what point do you teach him the lesson that it's important that a family work together and help each other out' Because that's what family is all about. I feel if you pay kids for chores they should do everyday, you're teaching them to not want to do something unless they get paid.

I know, I had a hard time typing out that thread title. I never thought you could go overboard, but I have to draw the line somewhere. Has anyone tried this yet' I can see eating ice cream and bacon together, but not bacon flavored ice cream. And yes, it does make a difference. Actual Bacon > Bacon flavoring.

I'm happy the Wings came back to force a Game 7. Tonight was the first time in this series that Detroit looked like they were playing playoff hockey. I'm hoping Detroit can catch the good bounces and hopefully quiet San Jose's crowd early. Either way I think it's going to be a dogfight. Detroit wins 3-2. P.S. Next time I see Bertuzzi trying to pass and take shots with one hand on his stick, I'm going to knock out the rest of his teeth. Two hands on the stick FFS!

Best news I heard all week was when Jamie Russell, coach of the Michigan Tech Huskies, announced his resignation. I'm pretty excited to see what the program does over the next few years. They have a young team and from what the university is saying, they're going to throw up alot of money to get a big name coach behind the bench. P.S. WCHA > Everyone else
