The definitive word on MJ vs. Kobe Bill had a size disadvantage against players in his era as well but he outplayed his competition by outsmarting them a lot. Saw an interview with him once where he said he would play someone like Wilt through 3.5 quarters until they started to get real comdortable and then completely change his defense strategy fucking with their head and causing them to miss shots when the game was on the line. Fri/Sat Pimlico Horse....Horseracing - Preakness, etc. My handicapper friend likes Golden Sense and Govenor Charlie with Orb in an exacta and tri box so that's what I hammered. The definitive word on MJ vs. Kobe Jordan took the game globally but the Magic /Bird rivalry of the 80's got people to actually watch the game in the US. There is no Jordan without Magic/Bird. Went from a game marketed around teams to marketed around individual players. I used to love the Clipper ads back in the early 90's that would read "Come see Michael Jordan, Dominique Wilkins, etc". Job bonus/raise etiquette question OP thinks since he put in all those hours in college studying in between frat parties, music festivals and date rape he should have a corner office with a view, Rolex watch and enough money for a lake house where he can do blow off his secratary's ass. In reality, if he actually got the job he thinks he's qualified to do he would fall so flat on his ass so fast all the compliments his parents gave him growing up would be instantly erased and no longer fuel his delusional self worth. Job bonus/raise etiquette question If you don't want to work 50-60 hours a week you shouldn't expect to succeed in the corporate world. Does smoking cause diabetes? I should add a disclaimer: I smoke like a chimney, binge drink 3 times a week and eat like shit, although I don't eat sweets and rarely snack. All that being said, I also surf every morning before work, take my dog for walks at night and hike a lot on the weekends which is why I'm an advocate of exercise. My blood sugars have always stayed fairly normal and I've never had any complications in 25+ years. I barely need glasses when driving at night. So I'm no model Diabetic but have a good grasp on the situation. Posted in: Off Topic |

I went to hospital at over 900 and the day before I took down a 6 pack of Hawiian Punch in 15 minutes then kept my head under the water faucet for 10 minutes straight after lapping it up. Gin is right, over time you'll know exactly what your blood sugar is based on how you feel but always check it and make sure you stay active. Activity is 1000x more effective than trying to control with diet and since you're type 2 it could actually ween you off the pills all together. Posted in: Off Topic |
