Corey Burbick Refund Situation Agree wish Swish.. After hearing Cory's side, I don't know how he should be held responsible for something that multiple WSOP employees told him. WSOP is aware that they had told him he would be refunded but still have decided that per that rule they will not be reimbursing his entry. I don't see how he is at fault here personally. Is this a shove? Ft of 22R 6 max 10k on merge I'm with grindin... this is actually a lot stronger of a hand than you would need to shove in this spot. If he wakes up with a big hand then so be it. Attn Rizen/David Jung/Anyone at Merge Is this a bad sign that Rizen hasn't said anything yet'' David, you seem genuine, but you have to understand that about four months ago we started a thred "Ideas to Improve Merge" which Rizen knew of. As I look through this post and compare, a ton of these things are the same issues we were brought up four months ago. So much like Ted, it's real easy to assume that they simply don't care what we say. big draw 3 way I don't hate the call three ways with money already in the pot. This is an iffy spot because I can see a lot of aggressive players making this exact play with such a draw. My style is to try to keep the pot smaller if possible so I probably just flat his bet and see the turn. Not saying that's correct, just my line. In your scenario, when he shoves, I think you have too much money in the pot and getting the right odds to call there. If you miss it you miss it, but you have to call there with a FD and GS straight draw. Interested to see what others think but I feel it played pretty straight ... So what are all the HS regs doing w/ trapped money on FTP? Why play if you never withdrew'' That's the funnest part about what we do and I make a much smaller scale compared to most of you. What's a better reward for doing your hobby than pulling off a couple thousand here and there and treating yourself to something nice, go out and splurge with your friends, take a wife/girlfriend (or vise versa) on a vacation, etc... Merge Email Well I just posted that I got my check yesterday. Well today I got the Visa card as well... So I have no clue what is going on over there. Merge Email Since I have only bashed Carbon, I will say that last week I withdrew money, and four days later they approved my transaction. Was so happy I actually took the time to write their customer support and tell them so. I guess I'll have to wait and see if it is a check or a visa card again. Hoping for check. When Will We Be Back I kind of agree with bef99hwk... I have been playing on Carbon ever since B/F and even though the fields and prizes aren't what people are used to, it still settles the urge. There's money to be made there as well and I think the fields are super soft. Ted would probably agree. Ideas to Improve Merge Tournaments I thought this was a great thread by our mods to get some good ideas going and give some constructive criticisms. I've been slightly agitated though to keep looking and see that only Rizen at Lock even took the time to comment or anything. Not only that, but as I looked through that past post, i realized that really nothing had been looked into or even changed. A lot of the same issues we commented on in the beginning of may still apply today. Adamsapple made a good point about staying patient as they deal with the influx of new players. Once US players can play legally again, how many of you will actually go back to FTP? I may be missing a point and if so please clarify for me. But am I wrong in saying that just because the US will allow players to play on Stars and FTP, I don't see how that gets takes care of the issue of FTP not paying people back. carbon poker verification form Still waiting... mine has been pending for a month now. For anyone having trouble finding the form, you need to open your payer admin with Moxilla Firefox in order to have the otions to get your form. Not that it will matter.
