Currently-4.5 The economy will start to turn around in late '09 and be stong in '10. I would suggest putting money into financial stocks now while they are down. If you can time the bottom of the housing market, REIT's will also be good long-term. In 4 years, I think the economy will be an 8 regardless of who's in office. The economy is cyclical and President's get too much credit and blame.

You thought 10 minutes in a 1-2 game' You are thinking way too much for a 1-2 NL game. Any perceived tells you might get are mitigated by the fact that 80+% of the players don't know the strength of their hand. He would have acted exactly the same way over 2-pair, AQ, KQ, etc.

I don't really know anyone, but I'll be in town for the Borgata tourney. I'll try to stop by if I don't play on Saturday. Also, there are a bunch of cheap hotels in absecon. They're not too bad and I'm too much of a cheap ass to pay $150+ per night.

I thought Hillary's speech was better. The best she's ever done. Barack had a couple good parts(Mccain needs to go to cities instead of Iraq), but it was mostly the same old stuff. I really don't like either one though.

Back in 2006, I was a losing player online. I decided to give it another shot and deposited $200 on Party Poker. I won a $33 satty to the Sunday Million. I chopped the tourney for 2nd place money-$99,000.
