Horrible table experience
Just got back from local $40 tourney (start with 2000) here in Vegas, truly miserable time, and not only because I had the coldest run of cards I've ever hand, online or live, but because of (I was in seat 5): A-hole #1 (seat 3) - Didn't know he could add-on (additional 1500) from the start - Pushed all-in with blinds at 25-50, then 50-100 with way over 2000 chips, making comments like "Don't have a choice" - Every hand he was in was saying "ship it" - talking to his buddy in seat 8 when one of them wasn't in the hand (got warned) - answering his phone at table, immediately told by the ...

Well, if you take a shower properly (as George Carlin says..."Armpits, assholes, crotch and teeth) you are only wiping off CLEAN water so I'd say a towel can last at least a week.

That's cool but I give most of the props to the guys with one arm, that has to tough to swing a club accurately with only one arm. Still, all pretty impressive considering I've never broke 100 golfing and I'm somewhat normal.

The other day in the barbershop, browsing through an old Newsweek mag, I saw a picture of these 2 girls in a swimming pool (that's really not relevant, just describing the pic) and I was really taken aback. It was really disturbing and I can't figure out why...these girls probably have a better outlook on life than I do. I just can't get my mind around living like that.

What really irks me is the supposed "recession of 08". EVERY f'in day the media talked about a looming recession, looming recession, looming recession, like trying to convince America it was a fact. I haven't noticed it. True, gas has gone up, sucks but i'm still driving my car as our 99% of Americans. My house value has leveled off, oh by the way, after going from a value of $176K in 2003 when we bought to over $300K now...leveling off at $300K isn't a recession to me. My "consumer confidence" hasn't decreased, we buy what we need when we need it. Does anyone else see this or feel this way'

If my original thoughts didn't translate clearly enough...my problem is with the "sense of entitlement" represented. Of course I would look out for my family, on the other hand if I was Joe Fan in the stands I'd be trying like hell to move to the same place the families are being moved to.
