Connection issues with Pstars
I am able to see that I have full network access, but the CPU is not connecting. My msn messanger is also doing the same, and it happened on the same day. Yahoo IM and everything else is working correctly, and I dont believe it is a port issue. I would consider myself pretty cpu illiterate and was wondering if anyone might have any ideas to what this might be, or if they have dealt with this issue before. I am getting some message about a security certificate when I pull up Pstars website, that's the only thing I have actually noticed that changed. Any input would be helpful. Thanks

Re(2): How poorly did I play this hand?
^^^^^^^^^^^^ agreed, if no call, 150 in blinds looks great with that stack ;)

Re(1): What the hell do I do here?
Two choices 1. Reraise before flop and make your read... not all in, say to 2400. I know you have pot commited yourself, but it looks stronger than the all to typical all-in (stealers will do this). Then go with your guts after he reacts, but it makes you in control at that time. 2.(the better of the two) Call, and see the flop. If it blanks, at least you got your money in with the best hand, because he is still coming most likely. Harder in tournys when you aren't quite sure what kind of player you are dealing with. Give it a try, not saying the outcome will be any different. Zee

Re(1): What's he got?
Reraise him another 240 to 480 and then find out. After the reaction of that, you should be able to know what hes got... worth the information IMO. Just my 2 cents

I just want to say that Ginz is a lucky man. You have gotten some of the greatest advice (IMO) that you will ever get for this specific situation, and future endeavors. You know what to do bro, and I will be glad to read that post when it comes. Big ups to P5ers on this occasion

The more of this out in the open, the better the poker community will be. Big ups to all who care enough to share. Also, it just makes my new year to see AA folded on the button; was starting to wonder if you were letting out a new strategy ;) Zee

Re(1): Do you go broke here?
Before losing to sets in this scenario... hitting the top two on a bingo flop outta the BB was a gift. I'm not sure what I would have done here. I may have laid it down, just because the scenario has kicked my ass a few times in tournies. SnG, may have to go broke, tournament play... up to you, but a more difficult lesson here, because you got sucked out, not out flopped. "never go broke, in an unraised pot"- I try, and I still fail Better luck next time, Zee

Re(7): Am I the only one to lay this down? --
^!LOUD NOISES!^ Tournament play, maybe fold pre... SnG, get in and see the flop. Pose the question on the flop though... what else were you looking for' Get some chips movin... find out where you are at that time. I agree with daddy, I just don't like yelling. You laid down the best hand... IMO. If not, kudos to you, but why play poker to lay things like this down in a SnG' GL Zee

I'm the Donkey... can you say TILT?
Cannot wait to get my ass torn apart for this, but it should be entertaining. So we all know, I was planning on busting out, too tired and tilted out of my mind, and self admittedly got into a hand I didn't belong in in the first place with a terrible starting hand considering circumstances. But case cards can be disgusting... just for the entertainment. Let the flood gates open... Zee-AK

Re(1): Calling the all-in re-raise
I too agree with the push or fold concept here(with AX). Grab your sack and make some moves. Depending on the limt... 30 and up they will fold or destroy you. 20 and down, you take your risks with the monkeys(knowingly). Either way, put them to the grinder, don't be grinded. Playing to win or playing to money' Play to win(always). Zee-AK

Sometimes Stars Delays that a while. I know it takes %, but if hes comfortable, and you have two Neteller accounts, someone else can transfer for him. Net to Net, then through PStars. Zee-AK

Re(3): On the topic of MTT from same IP address
This has nothing to do with "Collusion" and I believe everyone knows this, it's just covering my ass for the MTT's. By the way, we are in a house, not the dorms, and the IP is all the same from our router. So we may be on the watch list if it exists. I emailed support to notify them before they get the chance to email me some sheisty letter telling me of my Coullusion and withdrawn account. Zee-AK

On the topic of MTT from same IP address
Looking for some educated feedback, and personal points of view(whether from experience or not). My roomates and I are all on pokerstars, we all play the MTT's usually the 20's and 10's(when we all play), and I am starting to wonder what would happen to us if we got stuck at the same table. Hasn't happened yet, but shouldn't PStars have the technology to prevent this from ever happening' Don't kill a messenger, but we all enjoy those tournies, and have fun tracking each others action. Is it wrong for us to do this' I know we aren't the only ones. Zee-AK

Re(1): AMAZING... if this doesn't put you on tilt i dont know what does!
Yes, a suck out for sure... can't say it would have turned out different if you did, but raise that pre flop. Slow playing either makes you sick money(rarely), or busts your ass... my 2 cents.

Same thing happened to me with KK... nothings gauranteed, but safe to see a flop with QQ, A or K comes, at least you know you are in danger... my 2 cents. Of course... raise the shit out of it Pre

Re(6): I'm finally the donkey!
Well, now that we got all that out of the way... I found this all hilarious to read, and was worth every minute. AK was monkeyed out for sure, but he knew the risk with the min raise. Who doesn't call that raise with any two cards and a chip stack of that nature... Lesson learned, get them out of your pot(doubt always calls 3-4x raise), or take the bashing with grace... it's poker.

To answer the question about the money in accounts of complete donkeys... A wise man told me to remember one thing, "If your good enough, short term poker can hurt you... but it's the long term that will pay off". I think we are both in it for the long run, and will continually profit off these kids and their loose gambles. Take hits without losing sleep, without guys like this, where would the easy money be'
