Re:Folded KK 20 cubed pre flame away.. I like this fold. Poker's a game where decisions are based on range assignments. GENERALLY speaking, folding KK is bad because people's ranges here are going to be wider than this villains. I'm guessing ziggy's villain range assignment here was KK, AA only where he's got 22.6% equity against this range. I could definitely see AK being out of his range the way he played it, especially at 10/20 and whether QQ is in this 5 betting range should really be the only thing that's up for debate. QQ should be 3 betting the utg+1 raiser but is a very strong player going to 5 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Walking away from good oppurtunities. If I was one of the OT people you had dinner with, I'd probably actually berate you for walking away from a 6/12 tourney. For those other situations, its usually good to have someone you trust to take over during emergencies like a family member. When my internet goes out on emergencies, I give my dad a call and he'll take over for me while I try to get it fixed even though he's terrible at poker. I just tell him to fold everything and only shove QQ+ and AK. Better than blinding out imo. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

They did recently say that the add on feature was in beta testing right now and something they'd like to get in as soon as it was properly tested. But yea, I agree. $2 heads up april fools tourney, 1 person DC Tourney 152279508 They've already chopped it 7 ways so money doesn't matter. The final blind/antes are 10/20 with 10k ante and 30 million chip leader is heads up vs a disconnected player with 11 million Every hand takes 10 seconds for the D/C'd guy to fold. So it'll take him 20 minutes to ante the guy out. So I've been trying to convince this chip leader guy to get the other guy down to about 20k chips and then disconnect himself and go to bed. When the d/ced guy wakes up and opens pokerstars, he'll awake to see himself heads up with a d/ced chip leader. at 10 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:River spot vs Spacegravy $114 turbo Ship's check raise range is set or straight or semibluff flush draw. Well I guess he could also have top two pair or something since if KJ is in ship's range, then something like QT might as well be. Even if space doesn't put ship on an ace and he did have KK, raising makes no sense because he gains no extra value out of raising with KK with this assumed read and is only losing value since ship is only calling with hands that beat KK. Basically, if gravy had KK, he'd be turning it into a complete bluff on the river by raising and that line just doesn't make any sense. As ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:WHAT DO U DO HER WITH QQ SO EARLY?? Probably a fold. Assuming players are playing "honest" as you say, jlowme raising ur utg raise is already a tight range and morhy 4-betting with what looks like a value 4-bet seems to be KK/AA maybe QQ only. AK probably shoves there. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:SicKKKKK River spot vs Spacegravy $114 turbo Most of the time its QQ AA AQ Less of the time, its 99 (cuz i'm not sure he always raises 99 here on river) and very very few times, its KsJs (hey, he could be mixing it up with the ep raises here) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:River spot vs Spacegravy $114 turbo Cuz gravey's not gonna call a check raise with AT especially since he can't have the A of spades when the turn shows up A of spades. So if he is calling with AT, that means its AT with no backdoor flush draw possibilities and there's no way he'll spew 205 chips there with no backdoor and 2nd pair given ship's extremely strong line. Even if he did have the As, I don't think he'd call a check raise. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:River spot vs Spacegravy $114 turbo He's got QQ, 99, AA, or JsKs here. A9/AT isn't in his preflop range nor his post flop range especially given your check raise and given he can't have a backdoor flush draw with the ace of spades. Board is very dangerous so only hands he can raise on river is boat/royal. He may have taken that line with QQ or 99 since you're calling range might include JK and if he has AA he also takes the flat call line on the flop. If he has JsKs, he probably might also take the flat call line as his hand is already so strong and he has a strong redraw and probably expects another bet from ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
