In a full ring Omaha Hi/Lo game someone almost has the nuts. I heard that was a quote from Doyle Brunson, but I always use it when I play Omaha.

Yeah bad idea if you wanted to keep this discreet. Though if I was in your shoes I would report. He sounds to be a bane to poker online and off. Also to avoid hassling at this point if FT finds him guilty, I would not be afraid to let the local card rooms know about it. If he is willing to cheat online, I would not feel comfortable as a owner or customer if he was in any of my cardrooms.

Good Agression or Bad?
Bascially with my preflop actions is this a solid play' I believe one of my weaknesses is that I do not get agressive enough when I am down in chips. So saying that, is my pre flop play correct. I see this alot at these limits and its really weird. Most of the time I see this play being made with a very strong hand about 70%, that would be a top set or the made straight. The other 30% I see this made when someone believes their opponent has a flush draw and want to scare them from calling i.e in this case him having AA or KK maybe even QQ. There are few instances where I would feel very safe here. I would fold and feel pretty good about myself.

I tend to fold smaller PP then 88 unless we are extremely deepstack or if in late position I see alot of limping ahead of me. You really have to hit a premium flop with your set to get paid. You can still hit your set, and see a 3 card flush or straight on the board. Which can be very dangerous.

Good post Suicydal. Yes, MTT are the highest form of variance and I do know that you have to be lucky in the short term to win a MTT. I regualry played with the same 50-60 guys four times a week for a year. You regualry saw the same five-10 guys on top of the leaderboard. So tournaments are skill. So are 2000 person tournaments. Steve, you are a winning poker player right' So your skills are in the right place and therefore it is 100% skill. If you are not able to win $ it is a skill problem not a luck problem.

It's 100% skill. You just have to make sure you are playing the best game you can, and making sure you aren't wanting too much too soon. It is No Limit Hold Em, and it is by nautre suppose to be a high variance game. I usually find myself upset because I hit a good streak let's say up 10 Buy ins in a few days. Yippee. I expect that to keep going forever. But like clockwork I get cold decked and reminded that this is called a grind for a reason. It happesn to all of us Hinderantz, just keep plugging away.

I agree with Net, I am probably mucking then though I tend to err on the tight side. (I just had the weirdest feeling of Deja Vu btw). I can see someone making a strong arguement for the push here as you need to start collecting chips. In your situation, I am proabably folding pre flop.

Um, Steve I had the best hand going in. Though that wasn't bothered me it was just an amazing hand where my opponent tagzag had five outs 2K and 3A. He managed to hit all three A's was really neat.
