Re(2): PokerScars: Their Response Good post $50.00. Games Geek: Do you have some kind of ax to grind here' Berating them if they want to play on another site is their choice, and anybody who posts on P5 is a good enough player that I would rather not have them at my table anyways. Back on topic, I drink more kool aid then most people and I don't believe the RNG is rigged. Do I believe there are bots in poker' Yes. Do I believe collusion is a part of online poker. Yes. Do I believe in a rigged RNG. Not so much, not because of the guaranteed $, Enron made money and that didn't stop the corruption. Also don't compltetely ... Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re(1): Cheating on FTP Yeah bad idea if you wanted to keep this discreet. Though if I was in your shoes I would report. He sounds to be a bane to poker online and off. Also to avoid hassling at this point if FT finds him guilty, I would not be afraid to let the local card rooms know about it. If he is willing to cheat online, I would not feel comfortable as a owner or customer if he was in any of my cardrooms. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Good Agression or Bad? Bascially with my preflop actions is this a solid play' I believe one of my weaknesses is that I do not get agressive enough when I am down in chips. So saying that, is my pre flop play correct. Do you make the raise or do you fold and take your chances with the blinds coming around' PokerStars Game #11047081412: Tournament #56023248, $5.00+$0.50 Hold'em No Limit - Level V (75/150) - 2007/07/20 - 22:19:15 (ET) Table '56023248 2' 9-max Seat #3 is the button Seat 1: abdiver9 (1465 in chips) Seat 2: 11C11 (3630 in chips) Seat 3: saxman1963 (2270 in chips) Seat 4: zeeke42 (4405 in chips) Seat 5: ... Re(1): Overshove in cash game I see this alot at these limits and its really weird. Most of the time I see this play being made with a very strong hand about 70%, that would be a top set or the made straight. The other 30% I see this made when someone believes their opponent has a flush draw and want to scare them from calling i.e in this case him having AA or KK maybe even QQ. There are few instances where I would feel very safe here. I would fold and feel pretty good about myself. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Low Pocket Pair's UTG I tend to fold smaller PP then 88 unless we are extremely deepstack or if in late position I see alot of limping ahead of me. You really have to hit a premium flop with your set to get paid. You can still hit your set, and see a 3 card flush or straight on the board. Which can be very dangerous. Re(2): Frustration Setting In.......Skill vs. Luck Good post Suicydal. Yes, MTT are the highest form of variance and I do know that you have to be lucky in the short term to win a MTT. I regualry played with the same 50-60 guys four times a week for a year. You regualry saw the same five-10 guys on top of the leaderboard. So tournaments are skill. So are 2000 person tournaments. You just have a lot more variance with the added people. On a side note I have been running rather bad this last week. Full moon maybe' Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re(3): Frustration Setting In.......Skill vs. Luck Steve, you are a winning poker player right' So your skills are in the right place and therefore it is 100% skill. If you are not able to win $ it is a skill problem not a luck problem. Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re(1): Frustration Setting In.......Skill vs. Luck It's 100% skill. You just have to make sure you are playing the best game you can, and making sure you aren't wanting too much too soon. It is No Limit Hold Em, and it is by nautre suppose to be a high variance game. I usually find myself upset because I hit a good streak let's say up 10 Buy ins in a few days. Yippee. I expect that to keep going forever. But like clockwork I get cold decked and reminded that this is called a grind for a reason. It happesn to all of us Hinderantz, just keep plugging away. Re(1): My Full Tilt rant ..... yes, about the bot-thing.. lol To me those who says these bots are not a problem are missing the point. Now, yes most P5er and 2+2 for that matter could beat these bots. They netted 1.5bb/100. This is not exactly ballin. But they are winning. So if they aren't taking money from pros, sharks, or other winning players. Who are they taking it from' The fish. All the fish leave and we dont' have any more poker guys. There are enough 'this site is rigged' posts from fish. If we have some bot who is 12 tabling 12 hours a day he is gobbling up the fish's money at a faster rate then I and I am gonna say most of ... Re(1): About Pokeroffice/PokerTracker effects and ethical issues I will jump and post to say I agree with alot of what you are saying. Most P5ers can and do beat most players. :). What things like PT and PO do is allow certain players an edge over a large group of fish. Yes most of these multi-tablers that use PT and PO are not taking my money but they do clean the fish out. Hell, today I was watching at one of my tables and a player actually chatted. You have an agression stat of *** so you don't have anything and called with QQ on a K high board. The PT user was right and won the pot. So basically, it will become a game where there are no fish because ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
