Do Books Help?
How many players continue to read and improve their game with the help of poker books' I've read most of them but find they are less than groundbreaking and rarely change my game. I do find they better focus my dedication to practie, bankroll management, and hand history study, but not much more. Do you swear by these books' Disregard them' Thoughts'

i can't see a reason to call the flop as u prolly dont have the best heart, i dont see why u call the river bc he prolly has the ace. I'd say ur play is going to be a loser 90% of the time. good job scooping it though.

NJ Online Gambling Bill Decision Today

Need some advice on this hand
yeah prob is u basically play the board with that river card. cant imagine he would raise with nothing. J or 7 wins and any 9J+ beats you. fold.

How does everyone feel about these shove-fests' It's a fun way to get through a field of thousands in just a few hours. But is it a profitable way to play MTTs' I have had some success with these by simply playing super TAG while others seem to push with any Ax, or suited hole cards. Thoughts'

are you ever folding AK here?
1.10 or 110 it depends on if you want to race for most of your stack. With 80 left you ae certainly going to push towards the FT with a win but a better spot could be found for sure.

Yeah u'd be amazed what a 2x - 2.5x raise will buy you at that level in a MTT. Always a good idea with a tricky hand like 99 so u can escape without a whole lot invested.

We all do it: drink and play. So, what is everyone's drink of choice' Beer' If so what kind' Captain and coke' Maybe just red bull or coffee' I myself like to start hitting the Stone Brewery IPA to get the poker juices flowing. Although this usually is why I end up with a headache and a lot of money missing from my account. I'm trying to just drink water now when I play but its just not the same.

I would have to fold here. No reason to go at it when you are prob up against solid PP or AK. U are a flip at best. I say fold unless u just want to gamble ur way to the top.
