I had planned on playin the sunday million today but when I got home from golf I was pretty tired and didnt want to invest $215 in a tourney I felt I would get tired only a couple hours into. Instead I decided to play a few satellites for the sunday majors on Stars and Tilt, when I opened up stars there was a $55 sat starting in like 5 min so I jumped into that and busted about 30 min into it, shoved A4 on the button and the BB called with JJ, standard turbo stuff.
After that I didnt plan on playin any more on stars but before I closed it out I glanced over the tourneys one more time and saw a $77 satellite to the million that was gonna be starting in 10 min so I decided to play that, really liked this tourney as 1 in 3 gets a seat and baring any bad beats its a really soft tourney. Ran average and had one key pot that put me over the top, http://www.pokerhand.org/?2990394, lapp had pushed no joke 20 times before this hand so it was an easy call. After that it was pretty much just cruise control until the end.
A couple minutes before the $77 on stars ended the $55 150 seat gurantee on Tilt was about to start so I jumped into that as well. I played really tight the first few levels and at the 60-120 level I was still just hovering around 1000-1300. It was at this point that I decided to start pushing a much wider range, there were 780 people and 180 got seats, because I def needed some chips to take this one down. I was probably pushing 2 and sometimes 3 times an orbit and not once did I ever get called for my tourney life, it was such a soft table draw [:)]. Eventually it got down to around 200 people and I had a 6000 stack which put me in 112th place at the time so I just shut it down and coasted into a seat.
After a crappy round of golf, an 84[N], taking down two satellites certainly made me feel better. Ill prob use the seats to play the sunday million in two weeks and the first FTOPS event.
