hey i just skimmed this thread and didnt read every reply so maybe this was asked but.... why did you tell her you even lost it? i think i may have not said anything and just put off asking until i got a new ring but i do understand it may take you awhile to be able to afford another one I think I wouldnt say anything and then when I got home I would get a new one by just taking the hit and charging the new ring to credit card(s) and then propose the next weekend this really sucks but i dont feel
