• Re:US players december 1st withdraw issues
I guess when my bank sends me a notice that tells me I can't make deposits from third party processors that come from gaming sites or they will close my account they are just pranking me or I failed basic reading comprehension. It tilts me that people are still ignorant enough on this issue to not know that the status quo is changing or that there are federal regulations that go in effect on December 1, 2009 that are intended to implement the intended purpose

  • Re:what are US players doing December 1st
US banks are stating they will not be accepting checks from online poker sites. Not sure about wires. Anyone know the ruling on wires?
God these threads are tilting. Where do u ppl get ur info. I've never seen any bank come out with a statement like this. Post a link or stop saying shit like this. And if they're making statements like that now they wouldn't be accepting them now. So if you aren't having any major probs with your bank now
Well I'm better off as it is now...Indiana hates this kinda crap. I looked and we have 1 rep from 8 districts that support it. Is it likely Indiana will opt-out?
Both IN and IL have strong stands against it. If this bill passes I'm 95% certain IL will opt out. I can't speak for IN but the way your law is it doesn't look good, as both of our states classify online gambling as a misdemenor. So it seems to me that this new gaming law would

  • Bankroll mgmt across sites

Let's say I have a 6k roll on Stars and a 2k roll on FTP and my goal is to grind mtts and practice responsible br mgmt (200buyins). Should I be keeping an abi of $30 on Stars and $10 on FTP? Or should I view it as a single 8k roll and maintain a 40 abi across both sites? Obv if there was an easy way to move $ from site to site this wouldn't be a question. But as it gets tougher to transfer and deposit money I'm wondering how ppl are handling it when they have a disparity of funds on diff
My suspicion is that the states most likely to opt for it to be clearly illegal would be those with strong brick and mortar casino lobbies. For them, its less about morality and more about getting rid of competition.
This is very true as well. IL (and IN) have very strong brick and mortar casinos and they have a major influence on our corrupt polititions. Also IL state lottery is very strong here and we have a major NFL presence in the Bears. So for all these
i hate these spots 3bet call pf? hmmm as played i am leaning towards folding, stuffing can't b horrible what about leading this turn? but it is a 3 way pot ehhh
Yeah I thought about leading the turn but if he shoves I'd need like 2.8:1 to call and I wouldn't be getting close to that so it would be a bet fold which is kinda ghey. Felt like I was a little too deep to threebet call as I'd be just praying to get up against 99/TT or some 4 betbluff

yeah as much as I've thought about this, I"m leaning toward check fold turn which is really ghey but I guess I'll give the guy credit for makng a nice play and good bet sizing. But I don't think he was that good to knowingly make a play like that which led me to believe that he really did have a Q.

  • Re:Hand from Stars 3$r. Is my play bad here ?

What do you think about your play might be bad? The only thing I can think that might be bad is limping in pre, esp considering that you have an utg limper and the guy who limps before you has like 10bbs. No reason to put any chipsin this pot. Once you make top two the hand plays itself, esp consdiering that there are a bizzillion draws out there. You have 25bbs. Now is the time to conserve your stack and focus on a good spot to exercise your fold equity and/or double up.

  • Re:Maybe UIGEA should not be extended 1 year.

Well said, TE. Aside from being shallow minded doofuses, why would state lotteries and the NFL be threatened by ppl wanting to play poker on their computer?
