[quote user="TDoodle"] Quote from Barry Greenstein from PokerRoad: It's amazing that all the guesses on 2+2 are wrong. I won't unmask him since that's his decision. (I don't know him personally, but I know a good Swedish player who has played with him a lot.) He's not a publically known player at this time, but he has done very well in big head-up games on European sites. He just started playing on American sites. I have a feeling you will start hearing about in live

Anyways, after watching my bankroll suffer through a massive downswing over the past 4 months (from 80K to 40K) and feeling my psyche burn out gradually from all the bad beats, misplays and blown opportunities, I've made a decision over the last few weeks that poker might not be for me. I might be alone in this but I like the idea of check-raising to 1750 about right there on the flop, most aggro players won't give you credit for a 4. then if you check the turn this really disguises your hand and: -gives your opponents a chance to make a boat with their overpair -hit a big pair they can stack off on -bluff you back

eh the merits of check/calling are ok i guess, but by checking the river you allow him to control the action, he could easily throw in a huge 9K bet on the river and us having no idea whether he's spazzing or not that being said, I like the idea of betting 4-5K on the river to grab value from because most players will definitely call with lone trips but will not re-raise unless he's got you absolutely crushed, albeit you can safely fold with a workable stack if he does

I've won my first table in a shootout table ever after playing HU for 45 minutes and flipping six times at the end in ftops #2 anyway long ways to go just to cash but look out world!!!!

how do you figure he doesn't bet JJ-QQ here to protect his hand you could easily have AK and how you react after his bet will define your hand very well, whether you call or check-raise will pretty much turn your hand faceup EDIT: just read the part about check-folding...this is a level you sicko, isn't it
