Whats the point? IMO nobody should be on death row for 15-20 years before they get executed? Huge waste of money and resources. They should get a max number of appeals in a certain amount of years before they die. 85 year sentences whats the point? Keep them alive for 60 years behind bars being a complete waste to society. With DNA technology I would think that something more efficient can be done.
