The higher up you play, the more the variance will be. At the high stakes levels say 110 and above...100 buy in swings can happen... anyone that tells you any different has not played enough of them to know any better. I'd say for 33-55$ games, there will be stretches during your sng career where you will hit 50-70 buy in swings... Now..maybe the entire downswing is not due to variance, but hardly anyone plays their A game after they are down say 50 buy ins, no matter how robotic the play is

I dunno if I'm happy Andres came forward, or sad that he kept it to himself for so long...maybe a lil of both... Funny..the biggest names in the game show that they don't deserve most of their accolades nor are they levels above the rest of us. They just get multiple chances...I mean shyt...you give me 3 cracks at a sunday major every week, I bet you I win a few too. Once again AJK summarizes why most of us have stayed to themselves...even after all this time, I still only hang with a chosen

FWIW, I believe this mistiming is intentional. when they first synced, both sites seemed to go on break about the same time...then after a while, Stars was always before Tilt. In my mind, this is to use psychology against the player. For example, if you really need to go to the bathroom, you are going to see stars on break, but have to wait 20 sec to a minute for fulltilt....this causes you to be frustrated at fulltilt subconciously and not at stars. Pokerstars marketing dept is genius imo, and this

Guys seriously....I have given you the answer if you really want a high stakes forum. If you guys begin creating threads within PD that you identify as HSMTT threads and some of the regs being posting some hands and also help the mod's police those threads by not allowing bs and criticisms to be the bulk of the threads, you will prove the value of a high stakes forum and i'm sure p5's management would be receptive. However, since most hand discussions on this site deteroriate rapidly

biggest mistake in this hand is reraising opponents raise to 800....you are inflating a pot that op is already inflating with his raise to 800. Maybe you call his raise on flop and reevaluate on the turn..maybe you fold to his raise...i see these as options..but reraising here accomplishes nothing imo. Op's range here is wide..he could have a set....he could have an overpair, or he could have two overs with the flush draw or even sicker, he could have suited connectors that have both straight
