ok sorry, im new to the forum here basically and i tried to copy mkinds post and thats what came out. annyway, point i was trying to make was, mkind good idea, thats exactly what I'm talking about.

I am not as well known here at p5s, as I am more of a cash game player, but I play a fair bit of tournaments, and I speak a lot about unity in this letter, so it seems only fitting to reach out to p5s in addition to 2+2. fwiw Had lunch w/ platts, asked him straight up if he was on the phone w/ jj and he 100% was. That said, he says he made every decision on his own, and it wasn't jj telling him what to do. I think the ethics and the shadiness of it all is absolutely absurd, and i let matt know that, but what can be done, I have no idea. hey no one is hating on platts, I think hes a nice guy and I don't know too much about his game, but the facts are the facts.

mkind, you were not even in the room, so i have no clue what you are talking about. When I left the room platts was not on the phone, but ppl who were in his room said he was later on when i went to bed. I don't particularly want to get into the ethics or the whatever of it, but if ppl are gonna lie about the events then I feel it should be cleared up. edit: when i left there were like 20 left. Apparently from like 4 dif ppl in the room he was on the phone w/ jj towards the end.

I'm not going to get into the specifics of why I called, but obviously it was influenced by the fact that pol was being extremely aggressive the last 30 minutes, and didn't seem to be slowing down at all. Obviously the river call is thin, and there are a lot of hands that you can have that beat me, but given the timing as well as the small reraise pf I felt you had a huge range.
