I was just watching the end of the PCA satellite tonight and witnessed what I thought to be an interesting hand. There are 29 people left. Top 27 pay. These two guys stacks are in the top 15 at least. Is this a -EV call here to call with JJ? Gavin had been fairly active, but I have to admit, I was a little surprised to see the call with JJ. R0HR would have been crippled if he had lost the hand. Just curious and wanted to get some opinions. THANKS :) PokerStars Game #35420554139: Tournament #209768242

YAY! Thanks guys. I was pretty sure that I was being super nitty. I used my whole time bank and tried to figure out how each street would play out. I am out of position and we were both rather deep. I just couldn't figure out a turn or a river that I would be happy with aside from the case 3. Since I don't trust my Omaha game as much as my HE game, I figured that there was a good chance I would be outplayed on later streets. I mucked and kicked myself for about 10 minutes until I decided

Need more info....players left? # paid? any reads? With just the information provided and assuming at the 150/300 level that you are no where near the bubble, I would never shove here. Sattys are all about survival and you have a guy who can bust you in the SB. I am not risking 21 BBs at this point. D PitcherAK is probably not guaranteed a spot yet, so if he wakes up with JJ+ or AK+ (Q - marginal), I am assuming that he will be calling. He may have a wider range than this. While you do have the best

These are back to back hands. I am in the 2nd hand with him. I know that I am never calling 77 here, but what would you call? An overpair? 2 pair? Trips? What is your range here? He was super crazy. He went broke 3 hands later with 106s. These are situations I keep finding myself in. I didn't expect to see such a crazy donkey in the hundred grand. I tend to not want to gamble my tourney life when blinds are 15/30, but I didn't take advantage of the situation and get his chips before he gave them away. I think i need to loosen my game more in the beginning and take some chances when the opportunity presents itself.
