This is breathtakingly bad advice. The bubble is not important in 45 mans (except insofar as you can exploit your opponents who think it is). This is not a 9 man with a shallow pay structure nad a big jump from 4th to 3rd. It's a 45 man with a low payout for 7th and a very high payout for first. You must play for a top 3 placing. You have an M of 2 here and a golden opportunity to double up.

Here's mine. Username Games Played Av. Profit Av. Stake Av. ROI Total Profit Form Network Filter Jintster 888 $4 $18 23% $3,542 - PokerStars E18-18 NoLim Spd=T x Jintster 610 $3 $16 31% $1,999 - PokerStars E45-45 NoLim Spd=T But I wouldn't put too much store by them. The samples are just too small. As an example, Spacegravy is a much much better player than me and had been playing a lot of 27/45s recently but... spacegravy 832 -$1 $25 -3% -$706 - PokerStars E45-54 S20-30 NoLim Spd=T Inccidentally

Was wondering where Spacegravy had gone. Pleased he's jumped the 27s and gone straight to the 60s. People are assuming 250 tables a day, i.e 10 sets of 25 in 9 hours. Do the 60s really fill up fast enough to make that possible?

how can a 2 handed mtt not be a shootout? Stars seem to have introduced some 32 man heads up SNGs

An edge comes from being better than other players, not from how long a tourney lasts. Double rake would kill profitability - a 20%ROI player would become breakeven.

Two weeks after I cleared the requirement PSO are still "verifying with poker room". It's a great deal (assuming they eventually get round to "verifying"), but don't do it if you're in a hurry. The Nevada Jack chips are vastly superior to those you can get at the Pokerstars store.

The Venetian used to run a blog called "Poker Nerd" - sadly now defunct. In those days at least he played 16+ tables.

Good question. In 18 you should definately being playing to cash. In a 45 you should definately be playing to win or at least top 3. Not sure about 27s

Main factors are reads on the other guy and flop texture. IN the hand you posted, villain may well be limp calling pre-flop with a med pocket pair which has hit a set or is an overpair to the board. Your c-bet is less than half pot, which looks a bit scared and will encourage good players to come over the top of you, particularly with a draw (and there are lots of potential drawing hands against this board)

Jen comes across as a really nice person and its great that she makes such a big effort to pass on her thoughts. I really liked the way she made an effort to make reads on each player and apply them. Nevertheless, I thought the reads were often way way too tight and her application of them was often very poor. What would really have added value (and this is what good SNGers do as a matter of course after each session) would be to put the hands and her ranges through SNGPT to test her assumptions
