If I'm not wrong I believe the story line was a dream Luigi was having. So no it really doesn't fit the other stories.

Pretty sure the Wii Fit doesn't release til the 20th? If your looking for a single player game get Resident Evil 4 its awesome first person shooter. Though the best part of the Wii is the group/party games. I really like the variety of the games and the game play.
